JLS were given **** songs week in, week out, they were even in the bottom two at one point, I'm glad they finished 2nd but it was a very close call. He lost Bad Lashes and Girlband in the first two weeks. Similarly, he lost Kandy Rain in week 1 and Miss Frank in week 3 this year. He keeps putting through girlbands, even though he knows they stand no chance and has said so himself - I don't get it. It means we're left with John and Edward as the last of the groups, it suggests that they were the best of the groups, which they most certainly are not.

I thought he did well with JLS!

and I thought he made the right choices with who he had left at his house (except for J&E but I most be wrong cos they're the last men standing!!)

I'm hoping that pretty soon Louis will be able to put his feet up and have a well-earned rest. It'll be good for him and us.

They came 2nd, so yeah he did, but the fact that they were in the bottom two at one point, and the fact he lost the other two groups in the first two weeks, suggests that he isn't doing it right. Same situation is unfolding this year; the girl groups are both gone in the first few weeks, and he's left with a boy group who he'll continue to mis-manage for the rest of the show.

Yeah, but JLS being in the bottom is as bad as Danyl being in the bottom last week, it happens!

And just cos the public don't warm too much to girl groups doesn't mean that they shouldn't be picked if they're the best of the bunch!

girl groups never do well. Fact. With the exception of "hope"

I know but there are always exceptions which is why the best bands should be picked and given a shot girlband or not!

I agree, but that's two years running where Louis has picked two girl groups and one boy group and the girl groups have crashed out. He even acknowledged that the girl groups won't do well - so why did he pick two when he knew that would happen? I don't understand his logic; it's as if he wants John and Edward to be his last act remaining so he can play that sympathy card with the public or something?!

And yeah, Hope did well-ish, but they scraped their way to fifth place, it was hardly a glorious cross over the finish line
