Chapter 6
Knight with a dirty face


Iceman had just crashed through the Brotherhood Gate, He was panicking as the roads leading up to to the headquarters were littered with the corpses of zombies and Brotherhood members. As he drove near he saw that the Brotherhood had been breached. Iceman was looking around frantically trying to find anyone that wasn't dead but the Brotherhood grounds told a similar tale to the roads he traversed to get here.

As he approached the building he heard gunfire and then felt the bullets fly past him, he was being shot at! He ran back to his car and and took cover behind it. The unknown gunman fired some more rounds before stopping suddenly, Iceman suspected that he was reloading his gun but the booming voice from a megaphone surprised him.

'Identify yourself' a familiar voice inquired.

'It's me Iceman! For the love of god stop shooting! I'm not a zombie!'

'Oh, I'm sorry Iceman. I couldn't tell if you were a zombie or not, I'm the only one here now.'

Iceman realised that the voice belonged to Andy. He beckoned Iceman to come in and unlocked the front door. Iceman was glad to see that Andy was alive but was saddened by the fact that Andy was the only one there. He saw the corpses but he still hung on to the hope that at least a few others managed to escape.

'Where's everyone else?'

'You saw them all along the road, everyone in the Brotherhood except you, me and Lauren are dead. Don't bother looking for her though she left a few hours ago to find out what was going on, I'm not sure if she's still alive.'

'I can't believe it, they're all gone'

'I saw it all happen and still I think it was a bad dream. We were doing well against the zombies, we held them back for hours with no casualties but then one by one we started to fall. The other knights were reluctant to kill their undead comrades and so we were decimated. Lauren and I managed to close the gates though but now you've knocked them down I'm not sure how safe we are, we might need to move again.'

Andy's face suddenly became tense, a female figure was hovering around the front doors of the brotherhood. Iceman recognized her.

'Isn't that.......Twilight?'

Andy picked up a sword and a gun.

'Please be a zombie, please be a zombie'

'There was a sudden loud crackle in the air and suddenly a feminine voice rang throughout the building.

'Hello! Is there anyone there? Can I come in? My tour bus crashed and I was mobbed by some over enthusiastic fans, Luckily I managed to get away though as my entourage managed to calm them down, I should give them a raise'

'Let's pretend we're not in'

'Oh there is someone there! Thank God! Let me in, do you know how hard the walk here was in Armani heels?'

Andy sighed.

'Well we can't turn her away now she knows we're here.'

He pressed a button and the front doors opened to let her in. She strutted down the corridor, her head was darting around and her face yielded an unhappy expression, every time she noticed something new she clicked her tongue in disapproval.

'Brick walls, Dull furniture with more metal features then a sex dungeon....What was your design inspiration? Auschwitz?.'
Andy forced a smile as he reminded her that she didn't have to stay here. She laughed and then sat down on a chair.

'A low fat Latte would be nice if you're not too busy standing around'

Andy opened his mouth to reply when the radio crackled into life.

'Andy? Are you there? It's Lauren, I've found an evacuation site. I'm gonna come pick you up after I've gone to Jen Jam's house, Marcjsp's been injured and I'm gonna go pick him up.'

'Be careful Lauren.' Said Iceman.

'Iceman? It's good to know that there are still survivors around. Is there anyone else there?'

'Yes, we have the....pleasure of Twilight's company'

Lauren laughed.

'Oh how I'd love to be a fly on the wall...Anyway I've got to go, I'll be there in around half an hour so get ready, it's gonna be a long drive to the Evac site..'

'Ooooh Road Trip! Thank God I've got my Taylor Swift albums on me!'

Andy picked up a handgun from the side and put it against his own head, he took a deep breath and squeezed the trigger. There was a loud click.

'It looks like you've ran out of bullets'

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O!'

Chapter 7
Twist of Fate


The Group of survivors were driving along an abandoned road in Lauren's Truck, They were all talking excitedly for they were going to escape. Then nightmare was nearly over. There was only one person who wasn't engaged in the conversation, LemonJam was looking out the window at the trees. He was thinking about what had happened today and the events leading up to here.

2 HOURS EARLIER

'Poor Dezzy, I know he's used to failing but that was just harsh.' Said Shaun.

LemonJam, Princess, Shaun, Gary and MarkWaldorf just arrived at Jen's house when they had witnessed the untimely death of their friend Dezzy. LJ was sad that he didn't survive but was more concerned about Jen. He ran up to his front door and unlocked it.

'Jen?' He called.

'HELP!' She cried. Her scream came from the dining room. LemonJam burst through the door to see Jen struggling with a zombie Marcjsp. She looked away from the zombie and towards LemonJam, she smiled slightly, she was saved.

Noticing her change of focus the zombie quickly latched it's teeth into Jen's neck.

'NOOO!' cried out Lemonjam, he grabbed Marcjsp and threw him over the the dining table. Jen fell into his arms, her wound was deep and LemonJam knew deep down that it was fatal. She looked deeply into his eyes, her face was wide with shock and panic and his face was that of a man about to break.

'James...Ve-Venice......' She closed her eyes and faded away. James screamed a scream of utter anguish which caused Princess to run into the house. She covered her mouth with shock as tears welled in her eyes. The hungry moan of the zombie brought her back to reality, She raised her chainsaw and ran into Marcjsp impaling him with it against a wall. She yanked out the chainsaw from his stomach and proceeded to eviscerate him with it.

LJ wasn't paying attention though, he was still holding Jen. He just couldn't move although he knew that it wasn't safe to stay. The rest of the group entered the house and Shaun ran over to him. He gently pulled him away from Jen.

'Come on LJ you don't need to do this to yourself, let's go it's not safe here'. LemonJam was in no state to argue. They walked into the hallway when they heard a grunt, LemonJam turned around an felt his heart shatter in his chest. Jen was a Zombie. Jen approached them slowly and the group with the exception of LJ began to back away.

'LJ COME ON' one of them cried but he just couldn't move. Jen was in touching distance of him when a loud gunshot rang thought the house. The zombie Jen fell to the floor and Lauren walked out of the Dining room.

Lauren had seen Marcjsp's remains and Jen and she stared at at LJ with sadness in her eyes. However she had to keep her head clear, she looked at the other survivors and a small but sombre smile appeared on her face. She was glad so many had survived.

'Lauren! I'm so glad you're alive' said Princess, She was still shaken by Jen's death but like Lauren was glad to see another face.

'You too, are there any more survivors?' inquired Lauren.

'Yeah, Ross, Zee and GypsyGoth are heading over' said Gary

'When they arrive we'll leave, I've found an evacuation site'

The group breathed a sigh of relief. At that moment Zee's group arrived after filling them in about what happened, they all prepared to leave.

'Lauren where are we going?' asked Zee.

'To the only safe place left, We're going to Tibb Towers.'

Chapter 8
On the Road Again! I Can't Wait to get on the Road Again!


After finding LemonJam's group and picking them up, Lauren swung by the Brotherhood to get Andy, Iceman and Twilight. They were soon heading off towards Tibb Towers.
'So how did this all happen?' inquired Ross.

'I'm not sure, after leaving the Brotherhood I went to Tibb Towers to look for answers but I didn't find anything. I searched the entire A.R.I.S.T.A Computer Network but before last night there were nothing about why the zombies appeared.'

'And where's the Modforce in all of this?' asked Princess

'They originally attacked the zombies hoping to wipe them out but when Mark was killed James took control and ordered them to retreat for a while. Instead of attacking they decided to evacuate as many people as possible. Sia and James managed to escape with over 43 Tibb residents and now 30Stone is waiting for us at Tibb Tower's Helipad, From what I gather we'll be the last group to get out'

'But what if there are any other survivors? What's gonna happen to them?'

'I hope they manage to escape if there are any left since in' Lauren looked at her watch. ' three hours time James will be taking action against the zombies'

'Taking action?'

'James is gonna bomb Tibb to hell'

For the first time Silence had spread across the vehicle, Tibb was their home and some had held onto the hope that they could return after the zombies were dealt with.

'They can do what they like, I never planned on coming back' Stated LemonJam, It was the first item he had spoken since Jen's death.

AN HOUR LATER

The group had reached the gates of Tibb Towers, they cheered for they knew that salvation was only a few minutes away. They stared in wonder as Tibb Towers came into sight. The building consisted of three towers which were connected at the top by a single roof structure. It was a sight to behold.

The began to approach the front door when Princess suddenly screamed.

'This can't be happening! This can't be happening!'

Chapter 9
For One Night Only


Princess stopped the group from entering the building, she was closest to the door and was horrified to see that the Entrance Plaza of Tibb Towers was full of zombies.

'What are we going to do now? Are there any other ways to get out of here?' Asked Iceman.

'There's the docks underneath the parking complex but I'm not sure if the boats are still there, We've only got an hour left before the bombs drop and If we go to the docks and there's no boats then we won't have enough time to make it to the helipad' Stated Lauren. 'It's your choice guys.'

'We'll never make it through those zombies'
'The docks are safer'

'If there's no boats though we're dead anyway'

GypsyGoth cleared her throat. 'Fate has handed us two cards, but I believe we should go through the towers. There's danger yes but as long as we work as a team we shall live to tell the tale....Plus I'm very good at Left 4 Dead so this should be easy.'

The team nodded in agreement.

'How are we going to defend ourselves? Golf clubs are good for one or two zombies but we need something bigger for that crowd.' Said Lemonjam.

Andy and Iceman looked at each other and smiled, they moved to the trunk of the van and brought out two boxes, the threw them down at the group's feet. The boxes cracked open to reveal swords and guns.

'Compliments of the Brotherhood'

The survivors burst into the Plaza, they were led by Andy, Iceman, Gypsygoth and Princess who sliced away at the zombies with their swords and chainsaw respectively. The others followed shooting at anything that survived the first wave's attack while Twilight brought up the rear with some very well aimed grenades. It wasn't long before they reached the elevator but someone was missing...

'Twilight!' Cried out Mark.

She was surrounded but she was managing to dodge and weave through their attacks. She threw down well timed grenades that thinned out the group of zombies but there were still too many. Lauren pressed the elevator button which resulted in a loud drone as the elevator descended, the zombies turned from Twilight and headed towards the group. They would have been surely doomed if it wasn't for the angelic voice that enshrouded the plaza, drowning out the drone of the elevator. Twilight was singing to distract the zombies from the group and it was working. Hundreds of zombies charged towards her, she ran towards an open door and lead the zombies away. However there were still quite a number of zombies left in the plaza and without Twilight they started to move towards the group once more. Luckily at that moment the lift had fully descended and the group ran into it.

They were relieved to be safe for the moment but something was wrong....Andy was still in the Plaza! They banged on the windows of the lift trying to grab his attention but Andy knew what he was doing. The lift was slow and was made of glass panels, the zombies would have dragged them from the lift if someone didn't distract them. Andy raised his sword and ran at the zombies, he didn't mind sacrificing his life to save others. He was a knight afterall, brave and honorable. Although he was going to die he was going to make sure that he'd take as many zombies as he could with him.


Twilight was running through the dark corridors of Tibb towers with belt of grenades in one hand and her Armani heels in the other. As she ran she threw grenades behind her to stall the zombies but the hoard seemed never ending. She span around quickly and threw her Armani heels at the zombies, her aim was perfect and two zombies fell with heels lodged in their eyes (Let it never be said that fashion can't save a life).

She ran into a side door and shut it behind her, she felt the zombies hammering the door and turned around to find that she was in a laboratory, and it was a dead end. Twilight looked around desperately but there was no way out and the zombies hands had smashed through the window of the door. She looked at the belt to see a solitary grenade left. She sighed, there was nothing she could do now...but then she noticed something. She ran through the lab turning on all the Bunsen burners. People thought she was stupid but she was far from it, for she at least knew her basic science, that fire and gas does not mix. The zombies smashed through the door and charged at her, she threw the grenade.

The next few seconds seemed go in slow motion for her, as she saw the grenade fly towards the zombies. She though about what fame was and what she achieved, anyone famous would tell you that the key to it all was to go out with a bang and leave them wanting more. Twilight smiled as she knew she achieved both with flying colours.

The explosion ripped through the ground floor of the towers, decimating all the zombies. The group felt the building shake but remained silent and solemn. They were sad but thankful for Twilight and Andy's sacrifice for their combined efforts had saved the group. The lift was nearing it's stop and the group prepared for what lay ahead, they still had over half way to go and time was not on their side.
