I would imagine that if he were gay people would think ok but when someone says they are bi-annual people think "fibber" or "make yer bloody mind up"

People or you?

Another factor is that he came in the competition with this huge entrance... which he has never matched, he keeps trying to match it with the same routine, but fails, even with his bottom 2 song he used the same song he did in the audition, with the same microphone throw. Very boring.

And its sad people think Bi-Sexuals don't exist, why is it so out there to believe someone can be sexually attracted to both a male and female?

lots of people have different sexual proclivities it is just that most keep them to themselves rather than blurt them out like some badge of honour

Yeah I understand that, but just informing people your Bi-Sexual doesn't mean you are blurting it out. You shouldn't have to keep that to yourself, he either tells people or the assume he is straight... which he isn't. I agree if he keeps blurting out he is Bi-Sexual then its annoying as we don't need to be reminded, but Danyl isn't doing that and has nothing to do with people disliking him.

It has nothing to do with why I don't like him.

it was the crying like a big lassie that did it for me

Yes, but this chap seems to be able to switch the waterworks on and off at will, which suggests to me that he's in control of his actions all the time.

I find his performances very boring. He can belt out a note very well, but if you pay attention to the rest of each song, he just plods along in a very mundane way.

Take the "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" performance as an example - he fluffed his lines, was out of tune from the very beginning, but because his mouth can resemble the opening of Vesuvius, everyone's fooled into thinking "Wow!"

He also comes across as very arrogant and cocky to me. And now he's playing on the sympathy vote. Oh and Simon thinks he's amazing.

Oh please. Rachel went out twice over after being in the bottom two and performed. He on the other hand was an absolute disaster.

And didn't you see the difference between his peformance on Saturday and that of Sunday, where he was hopping about and smiling? He's a gameplayer.

MiuMiu 04-11-2009 07:46 PM

He sings through his nose and worst of all;
He SHOUTS!

Stephanie 04-11-2009 07:53 PM

he sings like shite, shouts a note at the end, then simon gives him his weekly standing ovation
bleh

Good point! Never took no notice, he really is sly that one, was starting to think he was ok..

WOMBAI 04-11-2009 08:17 PM

He was down about all the criticism on Saturday - affecting his performance. By the Sunday he had picked himself up as I expect he was encouraged to do - and make an effort to make the best of it and win some support. What is wrong with that - quite natural. We all have good days and bad days. If he was miserable Saturday - he had to be on Sunday as well for it to be genuine. Don't buy that.

He had a whole week to get over the comments, why would he get over it in a day after his performance?

I expect Simon told him he needed to appear happier - so that people couldn't accuse him of feeling sorry for himself - especially as the phone lines were still open for a while. Maybe he did feel better, maybe he was told to look as if he felt better - don't believe he was faking it on the Saturday.

People who don't like him want to believe that to justify their dislike of him.

Stacey. 04-11-2009 08:32 PM

danyl is an amazing singer and person... he doesnt deserve all this! :)

I don't buy that. And why mention the Hitler comment that was on Twitter? I'm sure that they've all had horrible things said about them on forums and the like, but it's not necessary to highlight it, unless of course you're playing the sympathy card.

Stephanie 04-11-2009 09:08 PM

why don't john and edward make a whole list of what's been said about them and read it out, i'm sure some of it is alot worse

They deserve a lot of the criticism - for entering a singing contest - when they can't sing. They are taking up a place that should have been given to someone more deserving.

shaz20 05-11-2009 04:05 AM

I don't think it has anything to do with his sexuality. To me he just has'nt matched up to his audition performance, I also think he is more cocky than confident, but maybe Simon has something to do with that!!

It is down to opinion if Danyl can sing... I could say the same about him.
