Stacey!!
|
im not sure, joe will be a big flop but i prefer him to stacey bu
i voted joe but i wouldnt really care |
Leon was swing throughout the entire live shows and that was reflected in his album? Joe's varied with different styles each week, pretty much like Alexandra did.

And Leon didn't do swing every week |
Joe's only 18 so he has a long time to find and develop a style. And as each of the judges have said from the start, he's been the most consistent in EVERYTHING he's sang. There's no way you can say he can't release songs of any particular style (obvious being gangsta rap or something like that...)
Plus here's Joe singing a modern song (Broken Strings) brilliantly: http://xfactor.itv.com/2009/music/si...tem_200674.htm with material like this Joe could do well for himself. Fair enough, he probably will never be Leona but righting him off so soon is unfair imo. and Leon was accustomed to that style each week, hence always coming out in a suit and giving us jazz hands. |
Joe >>> Leon
But I can see how you can compare them. |

And he has been consistent, I've not denied that for a second. He just isn't a recording artist. The real winners of this series are going to be John & Edward |
Joe!

Joe. Clearly.
|
Stacey because Joe has zero artist potential in my opinion. There is no market for him in the UK, either ship him to the US or put him in theatre. Stacey can easily be crafted into another Leona [who 's star is fading rapidly as it is].
|
Stacey is nowhere near as good as Leona.
Her looks will be her downfall also. There is a market for Joe. |
no she isn't as good as Leona but you ahrdly need talent to be successful these days.
and what market is that. Too young for Will Young/Buble. Not handsome enough for the Eoghan Quigg/JLS market. No straight male is realistically going to actually by his record. That's why he needs to be shipped off to America, give him the Archuleta treatment. |
Why can't an artist like Archuleta be successful here?
|
because there is no market for it. Many have tried. all have failed. Britain is simply not interested in some cookie cutting, sweet as apple pie, singing songs about heartbreak and summer fun, male singer. We're far to miserable.
People need to take a serious chill pill. There's no denying Joe is very talented, very consistent and will no doubt be successful to a certain degree because anything Simon shoves down our throats will go to #1. But unless he turns out to be a phenomenal songwriter, he will have no staying power because past a novelty first album there's no bracket for him. Even less as soon as he inevitably comes out which will lose him most of the young girl market, that he doesn't really have anyway. |
It's all going to hinge on one thing.. the material he's given.
If he's given mediocre material he will fail. |
People say that Joe won't fit into a market, but I'm not seeing where the hell Stacey would fit in either?
|
I don't see where Stacey will place - her style is too similar to Leona, only 100x worse than Ms. Lewis - she's stupid, she's clearly not talented with writing or any unique individuality.
Being as this is a singing competition - and hers is the weaker, less consistent voice, Joe has to win. |
Stacey can maintain moderate success with Coldplay-esque ballads and keep hitting Top 10. Joe will have epic first single success and go fast downhill from there.
|
Gary, please could I borrow your crystal ball for future occasions? It clearly means a lot to you if you can predict everything.
|
Lol!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Joe
|
Joe.
|
You can't have his crystal ball mark.. it matches his tiara.. If you take it, he'll be uncoordinated.. ;)
