Sorry I couldn't get the nominations in because of the ban!

I spent the time away rewatching The Best Of Andy's Duplicate Accounts Vol. III-VII.

You had to go and ruin the fecking moment, didn't you? Actually, I really hadn't heard any of that before so I'll have to have a good read on it because it really contrasts the image and iconic status that Mr. Marley has assumed across the entire globe.

We could get into a discussion over art and whether or not the artist and the creation are interconnected or can be distinguished from one another and accepted on their own merits. Always been an interesting topic for me. Or we could just howl at the moon and say f£ck it, what's good is good.

LOL no problem it was kind of a good thing you missed the awards it was full of idiot members and you may have been banned again due to insults :P

No denying the music is amazing obviously but it's kind of hard to listen to it under the same beguiled aura of the man that was Marley. But yeah, forced his way onto poor aul Rita one night.

Yeah I'm just reading the thread now, wondering why MeMyselfAndI is still an unbanned, active member of the forum. Shocking stuff.

Again, I'll just have to read it and judge myself, you know? I mean, why release it now? What value is there for her? God, I'm a cynic.

And of course it's amazing - just entered my head for some peculiar reason when I read your post lol.

Interetsing point, actually. After all she did say she saw stigmata on Haile Selassie's palms during his visit to Jamaica.

setanta 15-01-2010 11:09 PM

I'm a total dinosaur when it concerns anything to do with computers. I just know how to delete my history and that's enough for me!

You know what I mean though, right? Does she get the royalties from his music? I'd love to check that now but I'm a bit too drunk to be researching anything tonight.

Eh, did you watch King of Kong? The ending wasn't on Youtube!!!

Oh, and I have another great documentary for you that's right up your street. And Linda's actually as it happens.

You're a cute little geek so don't be worrying about it petal. I really want to get into editing though...love films. It's like a diifferent language though and it's so intimidating for a novice.

Aye pissed me off! Good stuff though. I tried to look for the full version on torrent but no luck. Got about 9 gigs worth of Carl Sagan instead .

Anything that's both my and Linda's alley is generally ... no. It's too early.

Evening Jack. Who's posting style have you been copying in my abscence? :laugh2:

Jaysus, I'm surrounded by geeks and I'm loving it it darlings!

Oh yeah, this is like a real life Spinal Tap rock outfit who are still trying to make it after years of disappointments. And yet they continue to fight on in the name of heavy metal. It's an amazing, fly on the wall documentary that contains so much heart and sould. I was even close to listening to that kind of thing afterwards!

A lot of hair metal bands reportedly watched Spinal Tap and the humor was completely lost on them because the type of events portrayed in the film was just the norm for them on the road.

Oh yeah, I watched a documentary on Spinal Tap too, and alot of bands commented on it, saying that some of those things actually happened to them. So funny. Have you got the double dvd of Spinal Tap with the hour plus of extra footage? It's just as funny as the original cut.

Oh, and the name of the flick is Anvil: The Story of Anvil. Brilliant stuff.

Ah! Heard of it. Will have to check it out.

No I only seen the proper Spinal Cut but if what you say is true I'll try and get a rip of the double DVD. Stonehenge is still my favourite scene in the thing after all these years.

I love the one in the cocoons. Seriously, I thought I was going to have a heart attack....and I was young then.

Yeah, defo get your hands on the extra footage. It's well worth watching.

And as for Anvil, do you want a site? Watch movies net and Movie forumz are great for flicks.
