You'd find they probably aren't. Most live in poverty and are quite unhappy with their lives, as why they turn to alcohol and drugs.

Damaris 17-01-2010 04:21 PM

I <3 skinny jeans.

+ the whole cutting thing is just sterotype i bet ot would be hard to find one who did

Emos dress well and listen to acceptable music.
Chavs trackies and n dubz m8

Dont like the emo clothes, saying that wouldnt wear either if im going out somewhere..
just hate the emo need to be "different"

As for the cutting thing, i knew loads who did.. attention seekers mainly.

Novo 17-01-2010 04:27 PM

Skinny Jeans are just utterly disgraceful

Trackies are great to wear indoors

Twilight 17-01-2010 04:28 PM

i just dress like one and have my hair like one...

But the way they live they most likely are. Their houses are a state, the kids run wild, their Sat night out is a trip down the local. It's not like Shameless. And i'm not talking about everyone who lives on estates, i'm talking about chavs, the low of the low, the kids who had kids at 14 and that, they really don't live a that nice life. It would be hard to see how they couldn'y be depressed, but instead of writing about it or cutting themselves, they fgo take their anger out on a innocent person.

I wear trackies indoors, I don't know why you buy into the whole chav thing, it was not around when we were growing up. You're 19 right?

\PJ/ 17-01-2010 04:30 PM

me in skinny jeans would be dreadful.
i prefer to wear tracksuit bottoms if that makes me a chav then so be it i don't act like one.

setanta 17-01-2010 04:30 PM

I must be getting old cuz all I think of when I read both words is Only Fools and Horses and Sesame Street. Probably better off that way.

I am not anywhere near a Chav but i am more near a Chav then a emo thats what im voted Chav i'd hate to live like any of them and it has been around for ages

Can easily remember the word Chav being Used in the early years of high school

Jessica. 17-01-2010 04:34 PM

I picked chav even though there is no proper meaning of the word but lots of people on here have told me I am a chav for some reason. I know some emos and they are annoying no offence

Well I guess this is a polar opposite kinda poll. Realistically the average person would be nothing like either or somewhere inbetween. And I think 'chavs' became a fad in like 04/05

\PJ/ 17-01-2010 04:35 PM

There are no chavs where you live caitlin i have never seen one anyway.

Stacey. 17-01-2010 04:35 PM

Im definitely more of a chav  Lol
But emos .... :yuk: Makes me feel sick, they are always depressed...
i would hate to live like that.
i would never be an emo, but i dont see whats wrong with Chavs.
