If they use a decent IP trace they will get the email and other contact details for them to report any net abuse to your ISP. They can then send an emails asking that you be banned from visiting their site, however they have to provide evidence, copies of posts or pm's that support their complaint.
Net abuse teams on most ISP are fair minded people and if they believe you have abused the DS site or members on it they may send you an email asking you to refrain from visiting DS, abusing the site or its members etc. they could also ban you from all parts of the DS site.
If however they decide DS are overreacting some ISP's will send them back a nice reply fobbing them off. Others will merely reply saying they have received their complaint and will thoroughly investigate it. You probably wont even know or hear about it.
In more serious cases they are legally obliged to remove or suspend internet access while you are with that ISP and are also legally bound to inform any ISP you subsequently change over to for the reasons behind it.
