Making nasty, offensive jokes about other people's misfortune is definitely one good example of ignorance! (That does not apply to you, by the way).

We should be intolerant of them, yes. But you appear to misunderstand what a joke is.

This is exactly my point though, I'm not just doing this because I'm annoyed. If my jokes are offensive, then the ignorant posts in the other thread are just as offensive. It's as simple as that. One rule can't apply to some, and not others.

Usually I wouldn't care, I'm quite tolerant. But seriously, if we're going to crack down on offensive posts, then those things need to go.

You are just attempting to deflect attention on to me! Must people understand that some things are just not funny! There are limits! Ignorance is when people go beyond those limits and attempt to offend!

Yeah, It was because I made a thread asking when He who shall not be named's Birthday was.

jack's put a warning in his thread before on something, and people still complained.

There's no limits. A joke is a joke. It's light-hearted. Nothing more, nothing less. Humour is perceptive, I thought you of all people would have known that. What one person finds funny, another may not. That doesn't make their jokes wrong or inappropriate. What you, and others have to understand is that just because some people make dark jokes, it doesn't mean they are condoning those things.
