Liam started the band and asked Noel to join. They are both a big part of it but Liam is a great lead singer. Noel has even said himself he is not a frontman.

The thing about Oasis was it was always about Noel and Liam, not the rest of the band, and it wont work without either of them

Indeed, they are trying to find a new name I think lol

Noel always balanced them out as well, Liam's got no likability about him. His new band will fail if he keeps it up since a lot of people won't buy his music if they don't like the person.

Plenty of people like Liam. He might be a little rough around the edges but he still has good charisma.

But he has to be very careful now, without the Oasis name he'll probably lose a part of the casual crowd and if he continues to alienate and annoy the public they simply won't get behind him. Would that mean his album would bomb? Probably not but it wouldn't do as well as an Oasis album. Liam's gonna have to learn some media skills if he hopes to shadow his previous success.

Probably just part of who he is though, i'd rather him be himself than change for the fans or media. Fans are used to it and love him for it, they accept him for who he is.

I'm not saying that he should become a saint, people love a rebel but not an arsehole. That's the part that he needs to tone down.

I'd say he's calmed down alot since the 90's, but guess people are gonna have outbursts now and then.
