Why should they be allowed get away with it though? You shouldn't be allowed open a business which deals with the public if you're going to discriminate

It doesn't work that way in a democratic society LT. They were refused admission based solely on their sexual orientation, which is illegal in the UK. I'd be pi$$ed off too if I were them.

Isnt it also a duty of the police to provide assistance and information to the public? To provide impartial witness and take statements to all breaches of the law?

Nah bet they said something much more unprintable, well at least not postable on this forum.

Needless to say they offered the men helpful timely and accurate advice about proper channels to voice their complaint, so all was good in Berkshire.
