Okay then, if you had two months to make an animation, and you knew nothing about animation to begin with, what would you do? Also making sure you had to work towards a brief for the BBC?

I would not post it online and then wet my pants if someone dared to say it was less than great

I havent wet my pants, this is my first reply, asking your opinion of how you would do it, and how you would make it better

Also, the main reason I uploaded it was to get different opinions, to get my work to a distinction level, I want more of an opinion and less of a slagging off my work

I will leave the answer up to you to decide, mr knee-jerk.

Yeah but your criticism was pointless, what was the point of the comparision? Criticism for no reason serves no purpose, you could have at least said WHY you disliked it so that it could be more constructive.

I'm not saying that you need a knowledge of a subject to criticise I'm just saying if you are gonna criticise someone then make sure you can at least back yourself up or you'll look like a fool which you do remarkably well without all this.

you are correct, my apolz. How you make it better is to do it many more times and learn from mistakes.

telling you that it is amazing would be lying. it is what it is, a first attempt. Ultimately the script is far more important than the pictures, witness early Simpsons.

i doubt all this is news to you.

That's more like it :p I admit the script could have been better, but I spent a lot of the time in lessons learning how to animate and put the script back to the last minute, at one point I wasnt planning to have a VO, until my tutor pointed out that it would make the whole thing quite hard to understand. :spin:

it is all about the script
