I think that no matter what the decision it will be front page news - after all there is nothing else happening in the world that could mean more to the british public than princess Makosi hopefully getting deported.

I wonder if we will be able to get eviction night tickets for that show lol

are you being sarcastic? Okay i can understand people not liking Makosi (i disliked housemates too such as max saskia and derek ) but how can you say "there is nothing that would mean more to the british public than Makosi being deported"
Honestly there are alot of things that i'm sure would mean more to people that a reality tv contestant being deported and if there isnt well you certainly take big brother FAR to seriously!
Do you even watch the news? I'm only 17 but i'm clued up as to whats happening at the moment in the world and i'm pritty sure people have a lot more to worry about then that.

Even makosi is liking this situation she is in once again the more people talk about it the more her bank balance is rising. Whether we show an interest in her now is out own individual decision. In my opinion she broke the rules of her visa and she should be deported no matter what, no ifs or buts!

Makosifan, I think he/she was being sarcastic about that particular part because he/she said 'Princess' Makosi which does imply something.

Yes there was sarcasm in there and yes I do watch the news but since this is a BB forum I am talking about BB housemates.

I am not here to talk about the world and all that is bad in it I have enough of that day in day out in the job that I do so please dont even try to lecture me on the real world! I have worked in child protection, I have worked with drug addicts so I am aware of the world around me and am mature enough to realise that sometimes you have to let it go and have a laugh!

Wow calm down! This isn't a forum for discussing what's happening in the world is it? It's a forum for discussing Big Brother:spin2:

Family in fervent prayers for Makosi to remain in UK

Stanley Kwenda
9/15/2005 8:33:49 AM (GMT +2)

THE saying that "wherever you lay your head is home" has proved to be true for Zimbabwean cardiac nurse Makosi Musambasi, who is fighting to continue living in the United Kingdom, a place she has called home for the past five years.

While she fights for her right to remain in England after thrilling the British public with her sex-spiced antics during Big Brother UK, her family in Harare has embarked on a programme of fervent daily prayers.

"We are praying daily for Makosi so that she gets the legal documents which will enable her to remain in the UK where her heart is. We wish her good luck in everything that she does," said Richard Musambasi, Makosi's father.

Makosi has expressed a wish to continue living in Britain and has threatened to flout the law and stay as an illegal immigrant if her appeal against her impending deportation fails.

"I am worried and scared. Back in Zimbabwe I have been judged for things I have done that African people do not like. I would like to stay in Britain. I have been saving British lives and I could save more," she told The Sun newspaper last week.

If her appeal fails after the 10-day deadline expires this week, she might well find herself on the next flight back to Harare.

Her family however is confident that nothing of the sort will happen.
"Everything is under control, we are praying and I talked to her over the weekend and she assured us that nothing will happen to her as her lawyers are working round the clock to make sure that she remains in the UK .She told us that she had only made a small mistake, of not notifying the Home Office of the change in her circumstances and this had caused all the confusion," said Musambasi.

Asked what he thinks of his daughter's new status as a showbiz personality, which has seen her posing, nude for newspapers, he said she is an adult who makes her own choices. He said, "She is a grown up person who should choose her own path. We thank God who gave her all the blessings and talent, she can do whatever she wants."

Meanwhile, the controversial former cardiac nurse was last week embroiled in fresh controversy after she was accused by two debt-collection companies of not paying back a car loan. In0 another incident she was booted out of a celebrity function after she got drunk and started verbally abusing guests.

Agreed, and although I like Makosi I don't think that she is exempt from rules just because she has been on TV.

Sunny_01 16-09-2005 02:42 PM

I just want to see her go but I doubt she will - I really believe that her celebrity status will allow her to remain.

guttridge 16-09-2005 02:51 PM

she gone and never cuming back

Dan_ 16-09-2005 03:10 PM

Eh?

GlitterEyes 16-09-2005 04:45 PM

She should be deported otherwise the whole legal system when it comes to other visa's etc will be put into doubt and it will be stupid. Makosis family are still grabbing the medias attention they are all cashing in while she still can grab headlines.

MummyJens01 20-09-2005 04:01 PM

Not sure, but hope so

*keeping my fingers crossed* :colour:
