It sounds horribly corny and Cheesy - but people like Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, Shane Ward, Paul Potts and Alexandra Burke inspire me. They show that normal people can get into the music business and live their dreams. They give me hope that some-day I will be able make music and have sell out tours. It's a slim chance but these people show that it can be done.

no

these people show that it cannot be done as they are the exception to the rule and not the rule

just like a winning lottery ticket is an illustration to how futile playing the lottery is.

concentrate on being a nice person as that is all you can do.

I know, and I said that the chances of making it are slim, but they show that it can happen to anyone - and just that gives people like me who aspire to be like them, a little bit of hope that it can happen.

James Dean;; Legendary actor, his acting was fantastic, his films were amazing, and there seemed to be a nice level of depth to him. I'd also consider him one of the most beautiful men ever to have lived and it's tragic that he died so young.

I think that's a very closed minded thing to say. Nothing is unachievable if you work hard enough and don't give up trying. I think having a dream in life is a good thing. Whether it is to become an astronaut or to become a singer, everyone has the right to dream.. and for some lucky people who work hard, those dreams can really come true. Take Alexandra Burke for example. All throughout her young life she had wanted to sing and release music... now, after winning the X Factor, what is she doing? Exactly that. I'm afraid I disagree with you. I think that trying to achieve your dream isn't a waste of time and anyone can.

The problem is they arent normal people though are they, they all have incredible voices. What were the other people in the music business before they got into the music business, abnormal?

Different artistic achievements inspire me, but as to the people themselves I try not to become too interested or in awe of their personalities because ultimately you'll just end up being disappointed. Better to love the work rather than the artist and keep the people who inspire you to ones you know in your real life to be warm and genuine.

In saying that though, if we're talking about truly selfless and worthy individuals, I've always been moved by the story of Helen Keller and in particular that of Anne Sullivan, the woman who tirelessly worked in helping to bring her out of the darkness through patience, love and devotion. Now that's a person who should inspire you.
