Thats what I'm thinking. The World Cup starts around then, and BB is going to get smashed in the ratings:bawling:

The evening matches are on at 7.30 pm so if BB HL are at 10 they will avoid a clash.

Or folks can just tune in to C4+1.

BB3 was in a World Cup year and was the most successful ever (though the matches were shown very early UK time). BB5 was up against the European Championships and was a huge success despite getting less than 2 million viewers on the night England were beaten (on penalties, of course, though not to the Germans!). BB7 was up against another World Cup and was also a sucess.

Yeah I think C4 have enough common sense not to put BB up against a World Cup game, but then again I thought they would have a little more sense to launch a little earlier.

He's IBB's insider. A real proven one. He was on the site before BB10 launched and gave us accurate information:thumbs:
This is the first piece of real insider news we've had this year.

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-05-2010 12:12 PM

Im gutted that BB will be not on our screens, so late in June.:bawling:

The later it starts, the later it will finish.

That explains that.

BB was new then and was in its peak kind of. Its not now. Still a good show, no doubt but not in its peak.

Hopefully a late start is an indicator that Ch4 are pulling out the stops and putting huge effort into making it the biggest and best BB series ever.

Or maybe its just scheduling issues.

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-05-2010 06:38 PM

I was really really hoping for a late May start this year, like someone posted a few weeks back, that it would be earlier this year:bawling:

Really? I hope so! the more the merrier :) or just one of them.. okay sorry for my previous thread lol but yeah be great.. maybe? do we have time though for 22 to go in?

Oh on Holy Moly they wrote an article about BB about the film trailer.. havn't posted it on here because we already know all the news but at the end it says BB is expected to launch on 3rd June?

Stu 07-05-2010 12:40 AM

That would be a disaster. Some of the best runs have had trouble staying fresh and exciting for three months. Five is insanity and is a scheduelling improbability.

22 housemates would be crazy. Far too many for Launch Night. Its even to many across an entire series.

Kerry 07-05-2010 02:28 AM

I don't mind when it starts really. We all know it's part of Summer. It'll be here before we know it

keithafc 07-05-2010 01:22 PM

BB gets so boring and tired in the last 2 weeks if there isn't something in the house to keep you going. By then, the stupid twatish british public have voted out the good characters by then.

Let's hope that ALL the housemates are good ones.

Then every eviction will be a big battle.

Thats what I want. Every week, a battle to survive the public vote:devil:
