Well obviously, but it will have probably been taken in the past week

I dont think so, i think its been taken at leat 3 weeks ago, surely the house will just be about ready, i think it should only be fixture & fittings now, with furniture to go in now.

Did the Blue Room ask the Daily Star's permission?

Yeahh, just take them, they're around the net and everything, they're from the star so use them wherever :)

Barbie 15-05-2010 11:34 AM

The daily star, as usual they always think everything is a sex den, they even said the 2 circular mirrors in BB8 garden was

Its a BB house not the playboy mansion

ElProximo 15-05-2010 11:39 AM

Very interesting.
There are 3 pictures (to someone who missed that),
and,
No, I don't suppose its a working merry-go-round but I really do like the fun-park/circus/amusement park (whatever we call it) theme.
A sort of Tim Burton 'Alice in Wonderland' type of spooky and strange theme here?

I've worked on construction sites and yet I have to admit I cannot think of what is going on with the fiberglass shapes down there.
I could see where one is fitting a jacuzzi,
but,
where you see the 'hourglass' or 'figure eight' sorts of cut-outs... ?
At first I thought of something resembling a 'mini-golf' course and those would be little sandtraps.
Then I suppose they will set some kind of oddly shaped 'pillars' in them.

It's possible my brain is too tired at this moment so who here is creative and clever at the moment to tell us what those are for??

This. It probably is. Either a bar or a jacuzzi or something will be under there. They wouldn't actually put a working merry go round in :joker:

I think, like it says in another article: its no ordinary merry-go round.... once you get on... you might not get off again and leave the house forever...

QUOTE: “As always with Big Brother, expect the unexpected. A ride on that merry-go-round might not be all it seems. The housemates could find themselves spinning out of the house.”

Not always. The BB10 house was unfinished at the start of launch week, there were builders and decorators there till 1am in the week leading up to it, with that chipboard wall in the kitchen being one of the consequences.

And the final furniture only goes in once the test run housemates have been and gone.

Could it be that this could be just for a task/to try it out with the guineas?

Remember, BB8 had a skate ramp thingy.

cpullin 15-05-2010 12:00 PM

this pic still looks very big brother 10/ cbb7!!! i can see on that lil pic with the silver its by the doors to the house and on the floor you can see markings from the wood which was like a decking for cbb7! not too keen on this garden rom this pic! lets hope next week we get a better arial shot!

DigitalSid 15-05-2010 12:02 PM

Right, I gave in and looked, but that's my lot, going to avoid house pic and spoiler threads from now on, want a few surprises come launch. Will probably rewatch a few weeks of BB5 to tide me over.

Someone on IBB and I'd be inclined to agree, thinks it's probably just a cannopy with the daily star reading too much into it.

anto42 15-05-2010 12:16 PM

canopy reminds me of the cbb7 diary room chair

ben1990 15-05-2010 12:26 PM

The wall behind the 'carousel' is a bit further receeded than the rest of the wall.

I'm 90% sure it will form some sort of gimmick eviction in which the floor of the carousel will spin and the wall will open up, booting the housemate out :D

I like the look of the second picture at the bottom :D They've built some sort of hole, looks a bit small to be the pool. Hmmm

anto42 15-05-2010 12:29 PM

what is the big sphere for

Ikr :joker:

Its funny when you get so caught up in it all and then we will look back on this thread and other threads in about 6 Weeks and think 'God we were wrong'

LOL

Does anyone know what a Canopy means?

A canopy's like sorta a rain cover, it's like a roof but made of fabric usually.

A canopy is also a food. :)

luvjustin 15-05-2010 12:49 PM

Not sure how excited I am about this if it means a fairground type theme... I would prefer a more contemory house I think this year. I'm not moaning though, I'm just happy to have some kind of news!
