No - just several months of physical and mental development - without which life is not complete or sustainable!

Tom4784 26-05-2010 04:40 PM

It's utterly shocking and perplexing, let's hope the baby is taken out of her care and put with someone who could take care of them properly.

Do you know something the rest of us don't - given that no-one knows for sure what a foetus can and can't feel - and, just in case, they are anethetised! Sorry - no time for that type of emotive and emotional blackmail!

arista 26-05-2010 05:01 PM

Burned and Blistered

It was just on ITVLondon News.

Sky Ch993 for those out of the area.
Freesat Ch 977

They have a Eye Witness

It is not emotive or blackmail. It is humanity, as witnessed on this thread. Abortion was introduced for a small number of specific cases only. Now look at it.

The distinction you make based on the unknown is not good enough. We tolerate it beacuse we cant see it, again that is not good enough.

How how far does your idealism translate into realism - what do you suggest - without imposing your will on others (remember we live in a democracy not a dictatorship)? Why should people believe your opinion to be more valid than someone who has the opposite opinion?

Have you ever masturbated? Afterwards did you confess your sins, pray to God to ask for forgiveness or just wipe up all those potential lives in a bit of tissue and flush it down the toilet?

Get real, sometimes creating life also creates problems for all.

"The mother of a baby who was badly sunburnt on Brighton beach
says she left him out in the searing heat after one can of lager went to her head.
Five-month-old Cosmo Wilson suffered 40 per cent burns after
he was exposed to temperatures of 27C on the hottest day of the year."

The Update Confirms she got Drunk fast,
should have gone without the baby then.

I think it's sad because even though she would have turned out to be a terrible mother anyway, now that child has to worry about life in the care system.

Nah chances are after a social services investigation the child will go on the at risk register, the parents will have to undergo some form of parenting course and after a suitable period they will remove the name from the register.

In the meantime the child will probably stay with its parents.

30stone 31-05-2010 09:33 PM

So messed up, dont understand how someone can let that happen.
