It's just an unconscious habit used by many people as a strategy to offer comfort when stressed or anxious - no big deal, and absolutely nothing to do with "growing up". If anything Josie strikes me as one of the most grounded, normal people in the house.

There's a myth about grown-ups. This myth says that everything said grown up has to be respectable, reasonable, able to cope with "adult situations" and does nothing that a child would do etc...

but as Big Brother has taught us over the years, that is just a myth...

Its called having fun , what happens is there trying too keep us happy as well as there selfs :D now if they sat down all day and rocked back and forward you all would get bored of watching it

My girlfriend does that when shes tired she's 20 and my mate who turns 22 soon still does it occasionally when hes bored and hes a steroid abusing 15 stone of muscle lol.

To do so would be to discount all of life's lessons and experiences. Sure, adults can *act* in childish ways, but to say they are the same is silly.

If any adult just sees themselves as a 'taller child' they have a severe case of arrested development imo.
