Still greedy bastards of course, but I think the edits didn't show the whole picture..

Actually, the live feed version of events was even more nasty, Sunshine is the scapegoat for their anger at Govan's eviction.

Was funny. They were taking the piss so much. Mostly Caoimhe I think.

There is no hiding the real character of those larger than life intended them to be characters when fat fried potato snacks are around.

I thought it was petty. If Sunshine doesn't want to share her crisps that's up to her. No need to make her feel guilty about it.

Why do you constantly condone the nasty behaviour? I'd take a wild guess that you've never been on the receiving end of stuff like that, because if you had, you'd have at least a tiny bit of natural human empathy.

Okay, you dislike Sunshine. But to condone and champion that behaviour is, quite frankly, disturbing.

No I haven't.. but whatever, it was funny.

Basically anyone who dislikes Sunshine and likes Shabby etc. will have found that funny.

It's not half as bad as the things that come from John. Surprises me that someone like you would like John.

Josie

Josie, whom i like, was out of order with sunshine, whom i don't like, tonight with the crisps, i saw a side to josie that i didn't like

i completly disagree, i don't like sunshine but i didn't find it funny! Disliking a HM doesn't mean you can't admit when there being wronged!

I disliked Rachael, but I didn't like how John went about expressing his opinion on her. I fully agreed with his points, but not his method. By your logic, I should have found it funny, but evidently, I didn't.

It's horrid to see ANYBODY treated like a piece of trash.

No I know.. and I like Josie. But tonight I admit it did sound a bit rude going up to Sunshine and asking her to share her pizza with everyone.

I didn't say exactly I thought it was right, it just made me laugh

He was purely nasty to Rachael though.. even started on Josie but she's way above him and he knew he couldn't get the better of her.

That happens on BB though.. just as it happens in real life too.

Lucy. 26-06-2010 11:26 PM

Nah sorry Stace totally disagree, I don't particularly like Sunshine but the way Josie tret her, others too granted but mainly Josie, was completely uncalled for. She was already nice by sharing her vegan pizza, especially after how much they all moaned about her vegan food so why be rude to her about sharing her crisps? Horrid.

Abluebird 26-06-2010 11:28 PM

Josie let me down over the crisp comment, there was no need.

Yeah I do agree that Josie did go a bit too far.

simple calorific intake they had pizzas with plenty of toppings
she had vegan pizza plus crisps
the calorific intake would have been about the same

Scabby's group are NOT nice, and they were the ones (instigated by the increasingly bitchy Josie) who initiated the baiting.

Ben, Mario and Dave were the only ones who did not expect or ask for Sunshine to share her crisps. I am not a fan of Sunshine, but the baiting of her by the new addition to the coven (Josie) and her new bessie mates, Scabby and the poodle was disgusting, with the other sheep like Nathan and Ife joining in.

No, they would have picked on Ben if that were the case. What they are doing in their collective sneaky way is to set Sunshine up for nomination next week. Just hope one of their coven is up as well so they can get another shock next week (hope it's Scabby and/or her Shane lookalike squeeze). Josie will keep digging a hole for herself so that when's she's eventually up she will go.

Gemapelgem 27-06-2010 07:08 AM

how nasty was Josie and the "nice" group about the crisps

I'm unsure why she got crisps and 2 small pizza's when the others only got pizza. But even so, she can't eat the other house mates food because she's a vegan so why should they be eating her food as well as their own? And to make her feel bad about eating the food that has been allocated to her is immature and behaviour that should be left back in primary school!!! These people are meant to be grown ups! Have seen a side to Josie that I didn't particularly like!
:nono:

tmx 27-06-2010 09:47 AM

It's not her fault she got crisps while others didn't The crisps and Pizza's had her name on them so they were for her, they weren't for everyone.

She probably got more because:

a) even her two pizzas were smaller than the large ones the others got
b) her pizza's didn't have any toppings on them (after she took them of, at least)
c) she's had an eating disorder and quite clearly still not fully over it, plus it's arguable she is underweight still

Absolutely. She literally did nothing wrong.

stoney 27-06-2010 09:55 AM

who do you consider the "nice" group:conf:

it was Josie and JJ then shabby and Caoimhe that mostly had a go at sunshine over the crisps:shocked:

Dave and steve were in agreement with her that they would rather wait for bread and share a crisp sandwich

oh please... the house was pyschologically (edited to correct ommission) under a food shortage and a HM was stashing crisps so she could have a sandwich for herself later? And she expects that to go down well? Laughable and, at the least, socially dumb. She was just tight at the wrong time and showed she has no idea of how to be part of a group and she copped it.

Having food stashes has always been considered pathetic in BB, but apparently Sunshine is a special case because she is the herds choice this week.

As for Josie telling her 'it looks tight'... well it did, but you sheeple have chosen to interpret that as her having a go rather then the honest advice it was so whatever tbh.

Josie is one of the most honest HMs in there, even Ben and Mario say so, but you all attack her for talking to SS to her face rather then back biting her? For telling her how a behaviour looks to others so she is aware? It's just tragic tbh.

So many people here are so obssessed with 'victims' and 'bullying' I honestly think there are RL issues here being projected and a lot just lack objectivity to see whats really happening. Too many people use these forums as therapy... it just destroys objective debate.

I honestly don't give a **** about this little incident, honestly. We are a long way off the finals, Josie is very popular within the house (not even Sunshine has a problem with her, so lord knows why any of you have) and won't be up for a long long time yet. The short term opinion of the fickle crowd over a badly intrepreted and heavily edited incident to a specific small event means nothing to her.

I find it just hilarious how some HMs (Ben) can get away with continous back biting and betraying, of SS no less, and thats fine, but another (who isnt her 'close friend') tells her something straight that will actually help her and you have problems with it. The ethical compass of the general public is so fuked up, seriously.

I am going to be so happy watching the flavours of the week drop out one by one as she cruises to that final. :elephant:

yousoboo! 27-06-2010 11:06 AM

Joise is cool but she did show her mean side to Sunshine.

tmx 27-06-2010 11:08 AM

Under a food shortage? Big Brother had JUST given them god knows how many large pizzas! I could understand if the others had nothing, but they didn't! They were being greedy, they'd eaten their share and then wanted some of Sunshine's. Sunshine only asked them to wait until tomorrow

As it was they ate her pizzas anyway (and then complained how disgusting it was!), so her crisps were the ONLY food she had

I am trying to explain to you that psychologically (a word I meant to use but somehow missed I admit) they were still feeling under a food shortage from the last day and that it would have been socially smart of SS to be generous.

Josie told her to her face that it looked tight to the rest of the house, which at that time it did.
