ThaGazBoi 12-12-2005 08:47 PM

No sure. Its for certain mate. Lol

Jay 12-12-2005 08:48 PM

lol well you never no

Nicola 12-12-2005 09:01 PM

I'm pleased that the two acts I've supported from Day 1 (Shayne and Journey South) are through to the final. I don't mind which of them wins, just as long as it's one of them!

BigSister 12-12-2005 09:04 PM

Yeah I agree with Nicola but then again I supported the top 4 throughout the programme, Maria excepton, so really last week I was like dont want any of them to go

Jay 12-12-2005 09:10 PM

Journey South who ive supported from beginning are still there but this year all the acts have been really good

Dan_ 12-12-2005 09:18 PM

Yep there have been 7 or 8 who I have liked.

BigSister 12-12-2005 09:20 PM

*counts* Proably 5 this year but saying that last year I only liked 3

Jay 12-12-2005 09:20 PM

I think the only 2 i really disliked was Conways and Chico

BigSister 12-12-2005 09:22 PM

Same Jamie oh no I didnt like Addictive Ladies either Chenai, Philip, 4tune I didnt really mind or Nicholas I liked him as well it was just stupid Louis

Jay 12-12-2005 09:24 PM

I think Chenai and Nicholas could have done better if Louis would have chosen songs to suit there voices

VurtyWurtyBoy 12-12-2005 09:50 PM

Well you never no depends on how well they all sing on saturday night

Z 13-12-2005 04:56 PM

Had it been up to me, and me alone, Chenai would have stayed a little longer, as would Nicholas, and Chico + Conways would have taken their places, except Chenai would have gone the week Maria went. In turn, Maria would be in the last 4, with Andy coming fifth. I'd have put Shayne fourth, as I honestly don't think he's anything special. Maria 3rd, Brenda 2nd and JS 1st, despite my favourite being Brenda. I think that JS are far more talented and have been slogging it out for ages. Brenda entered on a whim, and she did exceptionally well. *salutes*

sol 13-12-2005 06:03 PM

I probably want Shayne winning now as I think that he will be the most successful out of the final 3. I wouldnt mind if Journey South won but I dont want Andy to win

texbex 14-12-2005 09:48 AM

poor brenda

BusyBee 14-12-2005 12:32 PM

I like to see someone win who has an ability to sing various types of songs well and unfortunately although Andy can sing ballads well once he gets out of his comfort zone he loses something, so think either Shayne or Journey South should win over him. Cant wait to see how they fare in the next few months with regard to their careers. Going by past experience - will we remember them this time next year?

Sunny_01 14-12-2005 03:58 PM

I have a feeling that now Brenda has gone it will be a tough race between journey south and Shane. Like busy bee said Andy is just not versatile enough to take it ( in my opinion )

Journey south have played a cunning north east card for votes last week though. They put on a free performance at the town hall but it was only going ahead if they got through last week!!!!

CharlotteSometimes 16-12-2005 06:10 AM

They dragged Simon along for that, too. He went on stage to say hello, ate some freaky local 'delicacy' that I've never heard of (the local paper seemed to find that point fascinating), visited their parents, and even nipped into JS' local - to use the bathroom. We've been saved one possible torture, at least. Apparently, they did a cover of The Jam's That's Entertainment, which nobody in their right minds should ever even dream of trying to cover.

I don't know about Andy & Sharon, but Shayne did exactly the same thing this week too, and took Louis along for the ride. Sharon has been busy on her book signing tour, of course. Rumour has it that Shayne was massively ahead last week, when Journey South turned in a better performance on the night. So unless he has a very, very bad night tomorrow, it looks like he has it in the bag.
