Nathan was right to say nurses and soldiers should get paid a lot more than they do at the moment, but he was only saying something that 90% of the country agree with including Ben.
He was just saying it to try and gain favour with public. The MPs argument was like watching an edition of question time filmed in the local pub. :joker: MPs expenses are the problem, not their salary. No expenses for MPs  |

Well Nathan has just taken the headlines from newspapers.Ben is not good at explaining anything. Fact: there are over 600 MPs, three are facing charges for doing something illegal. Ben was right to say the majority of MPs are honest. Tony Blair told MPs they could not have a pay rise in 1997 because it would look bad even though the wage was too low for running 2 homes. He said they could use up to £25,000 in claims. I absolutely do not believe that the majority of people in this country given that advise would not follow his advice. All he was doing was grandstanding for the benefit of the viewers now that he can see his grip on the kitchen loosening - slimy devious little turd! |

Personally I'd like to hear more of Nat's revolutionary insights into contemporary politics.
A leading think tank has warned that increasing capital gains tax will result in Government revenues dropping by £2.5 billion. It suggested a rise in CGT to the same levels as income tax, at 40 or even 50 per cent, would lead to such damage to the economy that tax revenues would plummet. More than £7.8 billion in tax revenues came from CGT last year. The drop in revenue would be equivalent to 30,000 additional public or similar cuts, according to a study published by the Adam Smith Institute. I wonder what Nat's view on the subject is? :joker: |
I'm fed up of the peasants of this country thinking they have a right to question why people who have worked hard all there lives are rich.
Nathan is just dirty communist scum. |
Ben was trying to explain his point but Nathan has the debating style that recommends you just talk louder than the other person and that will make your argument more valid. Almost everything Nathan said (not including that medical/military/emergency workers should be better rewarded, because I think we would all agree with that) was ridiculous. It's not a fashionable thing to say but some MPs work really hard and are committed to what they do, but some people just focus on the few that overclaim and milk the system because that makes for more saleable newspapers. If Nathan is so disgusted that "ordinary working people", and I'm assuming he is lumping himself into that category, aren't properly represented by their constituency MP, there's nothing stopping him joining the local party of his choice and finding out about standing as a MP himself.

Nathan is always full of bull****. 6'4'' and plays Rugby league in his VT. What? You're like 6 foot and you're built like a runner bean.
