It is just because of who it is - an older disabled, married man! People are using his marital status to condemn him - when really some of them mean his disability!

I have to disagree, any man, no matter who they are or what they look like, has no right to put his hands on a woman in that way. Why on earth would you think they do??? If JJ had his hand up someones thigh in that situation then he would get called names the same as steve has.

Its now sounding like you have the issue with steve's disability as no one else has raised it in connection with this. Unless you can read peoples minds you are makiing some very strange assumptions.

It is obvious that she is leading him on big time. Whenever the opportunity arises she plants herself right next to him (usually to his right) and snuggles up to him. She has a game plan and Steve (unwittingly or not) is part of that plan.

Is it normal and natural behavior for a man and a woman to act the way Steve and Keeley did? Yes, therefore neither of them are perverted.

I would worry for people who think this is perverted. They obviously have issues or are so blinkered or feel the need to make the right PC noises that they will surely struggle maintaining any sort of relationship if they ever relax enough to attract anyone.

The sick thing is that people on here seem so twisted that they want to read into it something that it wasnt. Maybe they had suffered an incident which was not as innocent as this and they have issue from that incident but the fact that that happened to them doesnt mean that everyone is the same as them and therefore should not be judged by what happened to them.

Good to see some sensible posts amongst all this rubbish.

Personally, I think some people are just a tad jealous, that steve can touch her and they cant

Until she says it makes her feel uncomfortable, there is not a problem in the slightest. And you lot are reading far too much into things, as per usual.

The quote of the day goes to this one.

Steve's a married man, which makes fondling Keeley inappropriate behavior.

Tom4784 14-07-2010 01:51 PM

He's just a bit enthusiastic, It's still awkward to watch though.

setanta 14-07-2010 01:55 PM

Can somebody tell me what he's staring at though? If it's a mirror I think I may have to throw up.

joeysteele 14-07-2010 01:59 PM

He's a married man with kids,in his 40s, now what if your Dad was sitting going on like that would those who see no at least inappropriate behaviour be happy to sit and watch your Dad like that with your Mother anfd friends watching too.I doubt it,he doesn't seem to be botehred about being away from his wife and kids now that there are 2 younger pretty girls in the house, Ben summed it up when he seemed Steve seemed on heat since Keeley and Rachel had come in and how odd that Steve made no reponse, not even to say 'if you can think that what must my kids think'. He is a dirty old man,its SICK.

exactly, I like Steve but he has been invading her personal space. Without an invite.

Keeley is supposed to be a hard-nosed business woman who is able to assert herself. Are you saying now she's a shrinking little violet who is being overpowered by the big nasty man? Awwww... that's so sad.

Or... could it be that she's leading him on in the hope of building some kind of drama to keep the camera on herself or to undermine Steve in some way as she thinks he's popular with the public.

He's a fool (although doing what most blokes would do, probably) and she's manipulative and transparent.

Steve doesn't come anywhere near that!

oh his gone past him.

You take after your Mum in the over-sensitivity department.

InOne 14-07-2010 02:19 PM

Perv obviously. Not really much to defend it. It was ok up until the point he was grabbing Keeleys legs and almost chucked her off her seat. That is not flirting.

MaratSafinForever 14-07-2010 02:19 PM

If this was John James doing the same thing, people would think it's normal. But that's society.

Her famous assertiveness seemed to fail her, didn't it. Funny that.

Fair play gave us the closest thing to sexy since rachel left.

Keeley should get drunk and strip!!

If the attention goes off her, I don't rule out her trying that.

Maybe she was a little shocked? She did look very uncomfortable, and Rachel has to basically pull her free.

Ah right. So her assertiveness is slow to kick in. I mean, it's been going on for a while now. If she's that show to make a decision in her job, I'm surprised she's not signing on.

Soz... I know you're smitten and all that.

Yeah, but you're probably fourteen or something, so I don't know why I'm even discussing it with you.

What even is your point? That night he took it to another level. Enough said.
