Let's turn that round - "should a 31 year old intelligent, attractive woman persistently drape herself all over a married father of eight, overtly flirting with him, and making innuendos, knowing full well his wife and kids are probably watching?" What a shameless little slapper.

The 8 kids bit should give you a clue.

He's a randy sod.

This exactly.

My thoughts added are:
- If Steve were a 41 year old sexy fashionable club promoter with great hair and abs then there would be ZERO discussion or comment about 'perv' and certainly not edited to maximum awkwardness.

- A number of Steve's critics made it very clear that if a male HM wanted to have sex with another male HM this was something 'off-limits' for any criticism or judgment since it was simply their own personal sexual orientation.
OK.
So I'd just ask they apply the same standards here. Even IF Steve has sex with Keeley tomorrow - that is HIS sexuality he was born with and his orientation and lifestyle. You ought not judge him, discriminate against him and certainly not call him derogatory names.
Agreed?

If your partner trust you its ok to have a laugh and even flirt a little bitty with someone else.

As my wife says...." I'm allowed to window shop as long as I dont get my wallet out my pocket"

I doubt she'd be happy if you went into the shop, climbed onto the window display and started fondling the goods tho.

Omg that wagging finger looks really rude!

Oh goodness I waited to reply on this post ages ago but I picked up a banned for awhile LOL

Anyway, is it alright for a married man to flirt, it is alright, but it must be highly humiliating for a wife who has stuck by a cripple with no legs, to see her hubby flirt with a hot young blonde and talk about his false likes pumping and vibrating and saying it is not a vibrator, YUK!

Lets just hope Keelely does not have her BB goggles on, and moves swiftly away from Steve. It cannot be a nice feeling at all.

chuff me dizzy 14-07-2010 07:09 PM

Disgusting ,i hope his wife has his bags packed when he gets home, he has shown himself and her up (Mind you she looks like a Russian shot-putter so Keely must be like Miss World to him )

There are little snippets on Steve that shows us if there are more like him in the army, no wonder are on a losing battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Funny how he told Ben he has no rights to talk about the war because he is a politician, DUDE, it is dodgy politicians that have warped minds and send sheeps who will jump off a bridge with no questions asked to war.

bbfan1991 14-07-2010 08:10 PM

Steve is so creepy and a waste of a housemate:mad:.

He is a man *****

If he hadn't set himself up in the father role and went more for crazy flirty uncle at the beginning, I think we'd all accept it. He made his morally upstanding war hero bed, and now he must lie in it.

troy4783 14-07-2010 10:36 PM

no he should not

He didn't set himself up as 'father role' and never made any claim or acceptance of 'morally upstanding war hero' (whatever insulting thing you think that means),
and,
He is not much older than Keeley or Corin or a few others in there so 'Uncle' seems inappropriate.

btw.. I do agree that he DID find himself a sort of 'father figure' HM by a sort of default position,
but,
No, your idea that he somehow took this position as the father and moral leader and now is 'letting you down' is simply not the case here.

No one stated this was off-limits. Don't try to derive double standards from this. I know how habitually eager you are to jump on any homophobic bandwagon.

Steve is married and has 8 children. Does that not mean anything to you?

I disagree.... he really does not like Keeley... I think he is trying to show her up for what she is and that is a manipulator. He does not like the fact that she came straight in the house and pronounced herself as 'the baroness'... she is using her sexuality to create the misgivings that you guys are now portraying.
I have to take my view on what I have watched and what I percieve....but thats how I see it at the moment.I might be wrong but will willingly to hold my hands up if proved so...

I agree! I think people have been too quick to believe a guy like Steve is bound to fancy a woman like Keely - mixed together with a bit of 'who does he think he is, she is way out his league' attitude!

Oh no.. don't be a hypocrite on this. The basic idea is that people are born with sexual desires and compulsions and they ought not be discriminated or criticized for them and even celebrated.
IF it were true that Steve's sexuality is to desire to have sex with as many different women as possible then that is.. 'who he is' and it is not a 'choice'!
and,
You have no right to criticize this by your own standards and actually you ought to celebrate it and encourage him to be proud of his sexual desires!

It doesn't matter what it means to me or you.
When I said that I thought it was immoral for 2 men to marry you made it clear that by YOUR STANDARDS that was neither here nor there and I ought not put 'my morality' on others,
so,
in this case, be consistent. IF Steve wants to have sex with multiple partners besides his wife then who are YOU to judge him?
Just because YOU decided that is immoral for yourself doesn't mean its immoral for him.
Its just 'his lifestyle' and who are you to enforce your moral standards on him?

No, I don't think a married man with 8 kids should act like he does with a young woman - on TV.

I wonder what his (3rd ?) wife and 8 kids think of his behaviour? Although he may be like it outside the house too.....?

Crimson Dynamo 19-07-2010 02:32 PM

the very fact he is on bb is reason enough to doubt his credibility as mr upstanding

Shasown 19-07-2010 02:35 PM

Just because you are on a diet doesnt mean you cant look at the cakes in a cake shop now does it?

Its when you start fingering the icing you get into trouble.
