I think that used to be true, but Ben hasnt done anything really for a couple of weeks though... I am not sure what losing him at this point would really cost the show.

just not true. How can you even pretend that when her odds took such a plunge? she obviously was shown in a bad light, but came through regardless.

Actually, Ben has grown in the house - it just isn't shown in the HL (except for the odd bit of toff buffoonery) because of the JJ/Josie and now Steve/Keely story lines taking precedence.

Beso 15-07-2010 01:11 PM

This editing excuse is past it's sell by date, It's how people percieve the edit..People could judge josie for her sly looks that you see all the time on the h/l show as being coniving and nasty or jj attacking people all the time could be seen as nasty by some, and both probably have, it's just the good outways the bad with these two.

hehe I am sorry, but another forum user's post that happens to share your opinion isnt evidence. Don't just say 'this', tell me how he has grown. Better yet, link it :)

I do watch live feed by the way, and I havent seen this man you describe at all or heard him 'banging out' one liners. I am not anti Ben at all, I have enjoyed him, but he well past his zenith in my opinion and isnt even trying any more!

He was first chosen by the girls to come out the lair, that wouldn't have happened a couple of weeks ago.

Oh we "get" her alright, there's not really much to "get" TBH. She's hardly got any complex layers to peel away - unfortunately what you see is pretty much what you get. She is just your bog standard girl next door. Maybe she's seen as approachable and non-threatening by some, (or as a mother figure by others:wink:), but whatever the reason, people like people for different reasons, usually because they connect with them on some level. There is no need to go around insulting other FMs because they don't share your opinion on a fairly average HM.

oh and by the way, no one can 'insult' you unless you let them and choose to be insulted. So many over sensitive types around here hehe. Why has something a random poster on a random forum for a TV show cut you so much? I don't get it.

I dont like JJ.

can you point out some of this "good" that is meant to outway all the nasty badness eminating from him:conf:

the nightly loo bitching stuff with that horrible nasty spiteful Caoimhe is turning the emotional cripple into a very angry wee boy who has placed his trust in totally the wrong person in Caoimhe:nono:

its also soooooooooo repetitive that it really bores me rigid:sleep:

For the reasons you've been told.
Similarly the reasons that you say that some people don't get Josie applies to Ben. The Ben that you choose to see isn't what others necessarily see too... although they are right. :D

I was referring to your insulting another FM actually - telling them they have the emotional depth of a puddle. Generally people with no point to make and no argument to debate always resort to insults. It's the last refuge of a limited intellect and a barren mind. Since I now realise you are in fact such a person, I can see it is not your fault and it is now completely obvious why you like Josie. You recognise a kindred spirit.

If you wish to chuck a few insults my way, go for it:hugesmile: I am impervious to insults from strangers that I don't give a toss about:xyxwave:

Me too. Keeva has latched on to Josie since Shabby left so is fully part of JJ's world now. I think one of JJ's traits when he interacts one to one with someone is that he reflects and embellishs upon what he is thinks they are saying to him. This works well with the less opinionated HMs but when he is involved with the likes of Keeva who has trust and respect issues we start to see a nasty side coming out. I don't think he means it per se he's just "in with a bad crowd". :)

See? When I said not getting her emotionally this is what I meant. Your perception of her obviously stops right there and dosent look any deeper. Like I say though, thats fine, I just like to look at the people involved in this little game somehat deeper and try to understand situations for what they are :)

bbfan1991 15-07-2010 01:50 PM

I would be very happy if Jose won:), despite the awkwardness of the JJ situation I just want them to be friends, love her individual moments but I wouldn't mind Ben winning also;).

But thats just it... no one has told me any reasons... :(

I get Ben, I like Ben, he has made me laugh and I would like him in the final due to that. The last 1-2 weeks though have seen him wither, as soon as he stopped getting tons of solo tasks and the camera time they bring and it was the Ben show actually... Without all those tasks and airtime he has been just as boring as, say, Ife. More so in fact i we are honest. I would love Ben to be the man he once was in there, but he seems to have given up. :(

Chosen by Corin the Cretin as her sole decision in the DR - hardly a resounding point of pride to be held-up
