I have the top of my left ear pierced and my right tragus (little bit of cartilage on the side of your ear/face).
Used to have my left ear lobe and eyebrow but I ripped it out whilst drying my hair yowwww! Getting my tongue doon soon :) |
Most of my piercings I've taken out or they've grown out. Right now I just have labret, bridge, tragus and lobes done. At one point I had four in my lip and surface piercings in my wrists and chest.
I'll probably take 'em all out soon, I think piercings are a bit tacky now. Exchange 'em for more tattoos. |
I have no piercings; I don't like them on other people, I'd never get one. Same goes for tattoos.

I'm so nervous, apparently it's meant to be the worst place you can get pierced.

The other side however may pinch, it's quite thick and tender there but it'll be over in a second. Just a crunch and it's done. I was so, so scared getting my tragus pierced because mine is quite thick but I didn't feel a thing and have had no swelling, after-pain or complaints since and today changed from bar to hoop. Honestly, go for it. It's over in a split second and tbh you won't REALLY know if it's "the most painful" until YOU get it done, everyone's experiences are different. Good luck :xyxwave: |

YouTube has alot of scaffolding piercing videos, watch them and I can guarantee that the ones being pierced don't even flinch! People make big deals out of piercings when really it's like ONE SECOND of "discomfort" (or sometimes nothing at all). |
Just my ears,I did have my belly button done a few years back but I went on holiday last year and badly burnt my stomach,it diddn`t get infected but where the ball on the bely bar was started to swell over and skin started to grow over it to the point i was scared I`d never be ale to get the bar out.Sounds absolutly gross but it looked more freaky than anything else.Anyway I ended up taking it out and it closed up straight away which I diddnt expect seeing as I had it done years ago.I have a bit of a scar now but its not too bad,Id like to have it done again but I`m not sure I can, would they just perce over the scar,as in the same place? If anyone has had theirs pierced twice let me know.I want it done again but it wasnt exactly pleasant the first time around,it diddnt hurt but its like a grabbing sensation =/ Anyone who has theirs done will know what I mean.Plus it cost £35 the first time, idk if Im that bothered to pay that again. On thw whole Im not big on piercings at all however I did go through a phase where I thought it would be cool to get my eyebrow and tounge pierced, thank god I diddn`t.
I watched this programme once where this guy in America lived and wanted to be a cat.He had had surgery alter his eye and lip shape and cheek implants to look more cat like,he also had several piercings,im talking like 30 above his lip on either side to demonstrate where a cat would have whiskers.BORK. God I can`t half ramble |

Ugh, okay so i'm not getting the industrial piercing done!
But can anyone tell me how old I have to be to get an eyebrow piercing? And is it just me or are they going out trend? |

All in all it lasted 3 months. From the day it was pierced until the day it fell out it was constantly infected, irritable and painful. The piercing itself doesn't hurt (it only goes through skin so) but the aftercare for mine was just ugh even though I followed all of the cleaning regulations and guidelines. After weeks and weeks of swelling, pain and general infection it stopped hurting and starting 'rejecting' or 'migrating' which basically means that my body wouldn't accept the piercing and therefore my skin was pushing it out of my eyebrow. I'm now left with a very noticeable deep scar where the piercing was (if you watch BB, Ife has exactly the same on her left eyebrow - very noticeable). This is basically what was happening... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...p/Picture1.png ^ Can you see how the bar is being 'pushed out' of the skin?! It does so until the skin in front of the bar tears and tears down until it just breaks apart and the bar falls out. Because they're in your eyebrow they're PRONE to infections because... 1 - your eyebrows catch any dirt/muck that comes from your hair 2 - your eyebrows collect sweat and grease from your forehead This means that alot of 'bad stuff' comes into contact with the piercing. I personally would reccomend a piercing which isn't a surface piercing and that actually goes through something quite sterdy and are less likely to 'reject' otherwise it's just a big waste of money really. I'd reccomend an ear piercing or nose/lip tbh - still prone to the above but nowhere near as likely. |
