Of course Ben is going to defend Prince Harry, they are both upper class ginger tossers full of their own self importance with very little idea about life in the real world.
Birds of a Feather and all that what ho, Pip Pip, Tally Ho old boy. |

I haven't asked anyone in a Synagogue but I can tell you that there is a long list of Jewish Hollywood writers, actors and film companies that were not only dressing up as mock Nazis but investing in the films and presenting them to the public. You could just start with 'The Great Dictator' where legendary Charlie Chaplin wears mock Nazi costumes. From there check out uber-Jewish synagogue member Mel Brooks Films. I'm all for mocking Nazis. Seems a lot of Hollywood Jews are too. I agree with them and Prince Henry and now Ben. Why are you opposed to mocking Nazis? Fear of offending them? |

If I remember correctly The Producers ran for quite a while on Broadway and in the West End and it was FULL of blokes dressed up as nazis goose-stepping across the stage. I didn't hear of any campaigns to get it closed down, but poor old Prince Harry JUST because he's who he is was condemned to kingdom come for going to a birthday bash for a few hours in a nazi costume. So the ***** What! Get over it.

Thanks for pointing that out. I never thought of it that way. |

You do realise that Palestine was Palestine long before the Jewish Community re-settled there following the Holocaust? You do realise that Israel's first Prime Minister was a well-known terrorist who had forcibly taken over the country by killing many Palestinians? |

On topic, for once I agree with Ben. Harry wearing the Nazi garb was nothing more than a teenage prank. |
I've been to fancy dress parties where people have come as Nazi officers. It was meant as a joke and people took it that way. Of course, none of them were royal princes so no one blew it out of all proportion. Incidentally, before we get into the whole "tell it to Isreal" question, I myself come from a long line of Red Sea Pedestrians.

Im not a Ben fan ,far from it ,but I too defend Harrys right to dress up for a fancy dress party in anything he chooses to

Using your reasoning about the play having a Jewish writer and director, then Ben should be allowed his opinion more than most since he himself is JEWISH. |
