The reason that Andrew does not believe in them is probably because he has maths ability. That would only allow him to score highly on the mathematical questions. That does not mean he would score highly on the word sections or verbal reasoning.

Some people have all round ability and some people are capable on one aspect.

I am suprised that a student who had an Alevel in maths at 13 has only managed 69%. Could be that he did not pass with a high grade at 13.

It could of course be that tutors like to give students a tough time in their first year exams. Making them work harder in later exams.

my IQ is 124, any of the rest of TiBB members know theirs??

If he's at Oxford, his A Level results would have had to have been brilliant. Could be he did resits later... but still.

No that was a random number mentioned by the idiotic Josie. The highest IQ ever recorded was for a 63 year American woman called Marilyn Vos Savant who scored 228.

Mensa members must score at least 133 (the average is between 85 and 115). I imagine Andrew's is around 155 - 160.

As for Mario, he piped up that his IQ is 188 - what a dumb ass.

I had one done about 4 years ago and scored 139.
