I'd absolutely love it if we had a HM who acted a certain way in front of the house but then went back to the DR and openly admitted to us that they had a gameplan and kept us updated with what they were going for and what actions the were going to take. But sadly none of them are good enough to keep that sort of deception up long enough.
Apart from constantly ingratiating themselves to others (this year is rediculously bad for it) most "gameplans" talked about are actually just negative character traits explained away in the context of the game.

If anyone did that (which would be amazing!) then they would get absolutely slated. They'd be called every name under the sun, be booed harshly and hated. From this they'd have no life outside the house, I doubt they'd get a job anywhere or find a partner.
Its just become to be like this, when if you are smart enough to twist a gameshow then you'd be brandished fake and a gameplayer :(
