Sometimes infraction process is skipped though, and a straight off ban is given :)

How long is a straight of ban for?..and what gets a forever ban..

A ban can be any length of time, from 24 hours to permanent. Depending what you do.

Permanent bans are normally only given to people who persistently break rules...spam accounts, or people who have been very very offensive.
