It's okay as long as you steer clear of the Biggmarket... that unless you want to enjoy the spectacle of orange geordies variously throwing up, headbutting eachother and being carted away in an ambulance.

The gay scene was horrendously overpriced and full of twats last time I went.

Beastie 22-08-2010 09:16 PM

Aww I did like Jen as a housemate to be honest! Apart from her crying that she missed her sprog.

Chester-le-Street is within County Durham, same county as me.

Chester is classed as county durham.

Durham city is about a ten minute drive from here

sooty 22-08-2010 09:29 PM

I passed near Gateshead by mistake the other day.

I used to go to New Castle often as my sister-in law lives there.

Sticky and Vicky.

I hate the accent as I am born and bred here, much rather have a Irish, Scottish or Welsh accent. Geordie is horrible and we talk to fast - according to my Yorkshire brother in law

Sticks 23-08-2010 03:53 AM

The couple who are organising our function today actually live in Chester-Le-Street

If anyone is able to make it, I am my own avatar so it should be easy to find me. Just ask for Graeme and say you are from TIBB

Yeah, you do :D I'm from down south but a lot of my family live up in Newcastle (well, Northumberland) and whenever we vist I can barely understand a word they say

Sticks 23-08-2010 04:48 PM

Apologies to any who tried to find us today at the bottom of Northumberland Street.

We were moved by the Council to the top end near the Haymarket Metro station, and for some reason people at church thought they had told me.

Sticks 23-08-2010 04:48 PM

BTW film of it later on

It was really pissing it down today too. :(

Sticks 23-08-2010 09:13 PM

We ended up calling it a day early on our town day due to the deluge.

Sticks 06-06-2011 04:52 AM

Sorry for lack of notice

But we are having another town day today at the bottom of Northumberland Street if you want to come and meet me

Novo 06-06-2011 05:11 AM

Late notice Sticks maybe next time though

Benjamin 06-06-2011 12:36 PM

What were you doing there at that time of day Sticks?

Judas 06-06-2011 12:42 PM

Hey Sticks,
I just popped along but I couldn't spot anyone. What do you call the 'bottom' of Northumberland Street, are you sure you don't mean the top?

Stu 06-06-2011 12:43 PM

:amazed:

mizzy25 06-06-2011 12:44 PM

Josy 06-06-2011 12:45 PM

According to google maps, it would take me 3 hrs 10 minutes to get to newcastle
