LOL Obviously a joke, this is the legendary Sam Pepper we're talking about, king of practical joking. Personally I would still give him money though :p

He's brilliant :D

Jase. 01-09-2010 09:49 PM

LOL. He was VERY OBVIOUSLY going to keep the money, until the backlash started...then he gave it to charity to cover his tracks.

Lame.

He's not joking, theres actually a message on the website.. kind gesture from him and now BB11 has raised more awareness for it:thumbs:.

This needs to be investigated fully. How convenient the money goes to a charity with Josies (his soon to be roomate) face on it.

that's not the point! Giving money to charity is amazing, but the way he did it is not. It was a scam. if you want people to give money to a charity clearly state so, but don't scam them out of money then expect to redeem yourself because you "offer" to then give it to charity.

Oh right, sorry I had missed some of what happened beforehand as I was distracted:blush:. What a cheek by him but at least he has now redeemed himself..

LOL at the people actually donating.

Some people are just dumb!!,he has lost all credibility with me,it's NOT clever, infact we could all do it,just most of us have some morals and dignity,Sam Pepper is nothing but a parasite feeding off the gullible,to even pass it off as a joke is pathetic.

Jack_ 01-09-2010 10:35 PM

If it wasn't a joke then yeah, fair enough, it's quite out of order really.

You can picture him saying to his mates 'watch this...I can get these idiots to give me money', but somehow I can't see him saying that.

But as much as it is unfair on all his fans...at the end of the day, it's an easy way of making money, and money is money...

Jack_ 01-09-2010 10:39 PM

Oh, and another thing...what if his management put him up to it? They must have a lot of control over what he's Tweeting [all the ringtone stuff etc].

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 01-09-2010 11:21 PM

he twitted the receipt apparently

" Card holder:
sam pepper

Card number:
xxxx xxxx xxxx Z8ZG

Exp: 12/99"

wtf expiry date 12/99?:conf:

King Gizzard 01-09-2010 11:22 PM

Well he always was a twat, great housemate yeah, but a twat.

Jords 01-09-2010 11:23 PM

If people are daft enough to donate fair play.

lily. 01-09-2010 11:28 PM

I don't get why so many people are annoyed by this.

If someone is stupid enough to waste their money by giving it to a random stranger from a reality show, then so be it. Whether he intended to keep the money or not is irrelevant. It has now gone to CLIC, which is a result in my opinion.

'CLIC' win.

'Idiots who paid him' lose.

magic118118 01-09-2010 11:31 PM

People need to chill! He donated the money to the charity! And thanks to him, people are aware of the charity and are donating money to reach the £3000 target!

Why are people getting angry on donating money to the charity! People on this forum and digital spy need to chill out and go onto twitter before people jump into conclusion.

Patrick 01-09-2010 11:37 PM

I gave him a fiver so he would tweet me :)
x

Did I F-ck.
I've lost a little bit of respect for him.

k, Give me a tenner now and I'll run down to a charity shop and donate it.

Seriously, alot of people say these things but don't do it :joker:

headaball 01-09-2010 11:40 PM

He should have kept the money. If people are willing to send you money then you might as well.

lily. 01-09-2010 11:41 PM

My point stands.. even if he kept the money... the people who donated it weren't under any illusions at the time. They thought they were donating it to Sam's pocket.. so it doesn't really matter where it goes does it..

Jack_ 01-09-2010 11:43 PM

Yeah, in fairness, Lily is right. If they want to donate money to him then so be it...it's their decision.

...is he taking the piss?

I love him, but...really?

He is donating all money he is sent to CLIC via www.justgiving.com. He is also posting the receipts on his twitpics for doubters, so be sure of your facts before you start slagging him off.

So are you suggesting that Josie's charity CLIC is in fact a scam and she and Sam are part of that scam? Why don't you get your facts straight, the charity itself has thanked Sam and Josie for their donations, and CLIC can be checked out at the Charity Commission since the registration number is quite clearly given on the website.
