I don't think she will die now. Whoever runs the EastEnders Facebook page posted a status saying 'Peggy didn't die!!!' or something like that which to me suggests they won't kill her off tomorrow.

I thought it was great, Phil is one of the best actors in Soap at the moment, great to watch. Does anyone know if his crack habbit is "over" with now or what?

And that could possibly clear him if they helped him there, I think that would be a good way to end it for him.

Kinda bad that the crack addiction was just a plot device for the fire

for a few months until Ben comes back all Magically grown up and a hard man, then Phil cant cope goes back on Crack, Ronnie cant help , roxy wont care she'll be after a new fella, Sam will be off I dunno having sex with someone, so peggy will come back (if shes not dead) to try help, she wont be able to so calls Grant......

there you have it EE mitchell storylines for the next 9 months :)

They might not dare kill Peggy, it's like a security blanket.
If the show starts going down the bog again then they start throwing cash at Barbara Windsor, Ross Kemp etc to try and get the Mitchells on again.
It happened after the whole Watts story finished in '05.

I really want peggy to die, at first i didnt like the idea but i think it will be more sad and more respectful to let her die. It will mean more to britain!

I knew Stacey wasn't going to die but I really felt for her:blush:, only a few months of her left:(.

I thought it was good, even though no one died it was still a very tense episode.

One thing about the episode - the characters were all out too quick and the fire went too quick

'no one died, it was ****tt!' - morbid much?

Oh....and where were the fire alarms! LOL

Such an anticlimax. It was riveting, but quickly got annoying with all the women screaming.

I love Eastenders, so much.

People that aren't regualr viewers that saw that will think it's some tacky, unrealistic, neighbours style BS. Not the greatly acted and produced show it really is. :bawling: !


It was so amateur.

And most of it didn't make sense. The vast majority of the things that were happening had millions of reasons why they wouldn't be.
Not in the way where people are like but she could of easily done this or that and changed everything, these things literally couldn't/shouldn't of been avoided.

It was atrociously produced in most aspects.

The acting was absolutely awful. (They can do so much better!)

Nobody even seemed too fusssed about what was happening!!!?
