But that wasn't one of the 'Platinum selling singles' now, was it. The majority don't listen to album tracks, just official singles and the singles are usually the best songs on the album.

If she sticks to ballads/depression, she's going to be known as someone who perhaps is uncomfortable to branch out. Until she features on a David Guetta track then the current musical purchasing audience of the UK (12-21 year olds) will go off her realistically.

No I meant your "singles aren't as important as albums" thing - I wish that were true, but I think people (well, stupid people ;)) don't have the attention-span for albums any more. Plus the digital thing (and shuffle, in particular) is kind of killing the 'album'.

But that's not to say the Killers are worse. Of course it's a matter of opinion, but I'd go so far as to say that, on the whole, everyone taken into account, people would almost objectively agree the Killers are better. There is no comparison.
