Individuality is the only truth. Generalities are bu!!sh!t.

No America didn't.
The USA love statistics, charts, averages etc.... This is how their business work. And I know a lot about it.

And where did today's way of doing business is from ? Capitalism ? Even worldwide culture ?

Oh yes, the USA.

But that's not the debate anyway.

Capitalism was invented by the USA? be careful, or Niam might say you sound like a "typical American". lol cause we all know that's the worst thing you can call someone.

I think for a country that's only just beginning to allow universal healthcare, USA can't have been that happy recently. I get your point about "happiness" being a matter of perspective: but this is an analysis of health, education, climate, economy, etc. altogether under one easy-to-understand title.

From what I understand Scandinavia is a great place to live: fresh air, pleasant people, secure economies (bar Iceland )

Falling around laughing at this thread!

I've actually always thought, from my own experiences that Danish people were the nicest/happiest people that I've met.

isn't it possible that a country without such extensive healthcare is actually just trying to adhere to Darwin's theory of natural selection?

Isn't it possible that perhaps the people least able to afford healthcare are also the people that least deserve it?

I think it' funny that the same liberals, that are such fan's of Darwin's theory of Natural selection and evolution, are the same people that try so hard to go against the NATURAL SELECTION, and save the weak and feeble.

the whole POINT of Darwin's theory was that the WEAK and FEEBLE should die. that's the WHOLE POINT of the theory.
