Yeah on prime-time national tv. If she didn't want anyone to know then that was quite literally the worst time to do it.

Why can't Steve buy his own legs? Why is he ALWAYS so relient on others. Benefits and now handouts ... ?

Nobody said that she didn't want anyone to know either! Answering a direct question with a direct answer is hardly going out of your way to let people know something, is all that the poster was saying!

Yeah, I'm sure JJ would have many reasons to not want Josie to buy Steve some legs. After all, he is the most horrible evil man on the planet right?

Come off it.

And from what they will have made from mag deals and that, plus the money HE already had, I'm sure £20k or so wouldn't go amiss anyway ;)

Clearly the Government has the moral duty and responsibility to provide injured ex servicemen with the prosthetics they need, and I would have thought no right minded person would begrudge that to men and women who risk their lives to defend this country. The legs that are being talked about are £30,000 each which are clearly top of the range legs which are not provided by the Government, just as any other equipment from the NHS is usually serviceable and fit for purpose, but never top of the range.

And why would you assume he claims benefits anyway? He has an army pension. If, however, he WAS claiming benefits rather they went to him than some scrounging deadbeat parents who've never done a days' work in their lives, and do nothing but produce brats others have to pay for.

I hope she gets Steve his legs to honour what she said but John James does not strike me as a loyal or particularly caring person.

The show to him was just that,a show, as to, I think kazanne is it, who said they thought Josie would an independent woman but then wasn't which put them off her.
She seemed to be at first but once John James got his claws into her, she more and more came across as very vulnerable indeed so my feeling is and it may only be my view, that in order to please this awful person,Josie will actually agree to anything he wishes.

He seemed to change Josie completely in the house and not sadly for the better.

What gave you the impression that John James was not a loyal person? Also what makes you think that he would tell Josie not to give that money? Has something leaked somewhere saying this or is just that you don't like him there fore if Josie doesn't follow through it must have been evil John telling her not to?

roddyj 22-09-2010 12:38 PM

I did say, it was just my feelings and my views. I do think however that John James came across very shallow in the house and that he used people.
It is only my view and I do not wish to upset anyone who liked John James, never the less I am entitled to my view.

You are correct though to assume I don't like John James,I have never had any time for men who pick on Women, even less so when they do it where it can be seen publicly.I also didn't see any great rapport with him and Steve either in the house.

You like John James and I respect that,as I said it is just my own view and my own feelings.

Niamh. 22-09-2010 12:38 PM

and another thing, If John James is just going to dump Josie once the mag deals dry up anyway, as is what most of the anti-John James people say, why the hell would he even care what she does with her winnings?

well tbh I don't have major feelings towards John James either way. I'm just saying what I see. First off do you not think it was more of a case of Josie picking John James up rather than the other way around? The way I remember it John James wanted to wait till after they left the house to see how they felt about eachother but Josie kept pushing it on him.

and secondly whether he had any kind of rapport with Steve or not is hardly the issue as it's Josies money to give away, not his!

roddyj 22-09-2010 12:42 PM

It seems I have annoyed you somewhat and for that I am sorry.
I respect that you like John James and so I will comment no more on Steve's legs isuue,
however I notice you like Brian Dowling so I agree with you on that, it was great to see him win Ultimate BB. A very deserved winner.

well, It's not that I loved John James, I thought he was one the best HMs but I thought it was a poor year tbh. What annoys me is people pulling these assumptions about things that they think he might do out of thin air!!

And yeah, Brian is my favourite HM of all time, was delighted he won!!

Cheers. It's nice to hear the facts from an insider who obviously knows all the ins and outs first hand. :p

Of course she could ..... her credit's good ..... ;) That is how most BB winners live until the cheque comes through ..... :)

Payment into BB9 Rachel's account was made within around a week of the final. It's done via bank transfer - no cheque to wait to clear or presentation to attend - and as BB already has all the bank details for each HM before they go into the house there's no delay.

Payment of PAs, photoshoots etc that come via an agent or from the company are another matter. These seem to take forever.

I think it's a bit early to start worrying about the will she won't she as there are lots of things that need to be in place before she can and she's only been out of the house a short while. :)

HAS BIG BROTHER winner RACHEL RICE already fallen on hard times?

This week the pretty Welsh housemate - who won the top £100,000 prize and a host of lucrative magazine deals - and BB runner-up Mikey Hughes attempted to blag a free trip to Alton Towers.

Staff offered the pair complimentary entrance to the park and hotel accommodation - however they threw a wobbly after the theme park refused to fork out for their travel expenses.

A source said: "Mikey said they won't be able to attend unless ALL expenses are covered because they cannot afford the train fare.

This is what you said in a thread yesterday. Now why are you starting a thread about someone who doesnt "impinge" on your world in any sort of way.

Stop being so negative and admit you just love bitching

This is a completley rediculous thread with you just assuming something you think is correct actually IS correct

Did you actually check the date the thread was started? No I thought not - SIX MONTHS AGO sweetie. You're the one who has trawled through ancient posts to try and have a pop at me - I'm beginning to think you have an unnatural obsession with me now:joker:

Now you mention it, as far as I'm aware Steve is still hopping around waiting for his new leg because you certainly don't know the answer now do you?

Thanks for reminding me about this as I must tweet Steve and see if motormouth Josie has actually fulfilled her promise to buy him his leg:wink:

Oh yes, please do :) I am also intrigued to know if she has.
