I think lots of people make judgements on first impressions and there are situations when they are the only ones that count for instance at a job interview when you only have a limited time to make an impression and if you get it wrong its too late cos there isn't time for the other person to take time to know you. But because people are so complicated and have many dimensions to their character sometimes your first impression can be bad but when you get to know them better you realise there's lots of good things that outweigh the negatives. So its good to keep an open mind and be open to changing your opinion and giving people a chance. I normally try and like people until they actually do something horrible or something I disagree strongly with. Hardly ever judge on first impression. I like to speak to everyone equally no matter what they look like, dress like or how they speak. I hate people that don't like to speak to certain people based on what they think the person is like because of how they dress, or the tone of their voice.
