Tbh only the choruses sound remotely the same.
But of course RHCP's song is 1 million times better.

She has completely ruined the song for me. I was listening to Chillies and all I could hear was her marge simpson voice. Hopefully in time things get back to normal. :(

I know she messed up, and blatantly sampled the chilli peppers song, but if I was them, I would actually be embarrassed to even declare the song simalar to theirs. Its such a load of crap, that they should just forget about it. Unless they are in need of some money, then fair enough. BUt f its just for artistic reasons, this is an awful song, and theirs is amazing.

Too bad, because I like Diana Vickers, and her personal style on the xfactor (even the claw :D). BUt like the poster Lucy said, I dont know what the hell she has become. Nothing unique about her at all anymore, and that was her best selling point.

^^I'm sure they think her song is crap too. But it must be painful/annoying for an artist to have spend time on a piece, be recognized for it and have some nobody that has a following from the new generation going on as if she came up with the sound. I wonder if she would have made reference to the Chilies if nobody mentioned it.

firstly those who say diana is better than RHCP are exactly what is wrong with music in the charts lately cos they buy the rubbish & decent artists are overlooked
secondly she basically admitted that it is the same cos was listening to under the bridge a lot before she wrote this of course she knew exactly what she was doing but now is hopefully gonna pay price for it
hopefully they will take her to cleaners so she has to fade into nothing so we dont have to endure her wailing anymore

Coming from someone who goes insane for Robbie friggin' Williams? People who prefer Diana's song to RHCP just means they have a different opinion from yours. Some people don't like RHCP type of music, what's wrong with that? I can appreciate that they are talented etc but I don't like the song. Obviously I love Diana's version and she was silly for taking the what thirty seconds in the chorus and she was silly for admitting it, but seriousl,y you want them to take her to the cleaners so she fades into nothing? She's only nineteen and she makes one mistake, which being fair, she doesn't even try to deny or cover up, least she's honest. She doesn't have to fade away, you can just stick Robbies greatest hits on or wait for the next Twilight film to come out, no?
