I think it's funny that quite a lot of people [straight, jealous teenage guys - if we're being stereotypical like you were] are not judging their talent and dismissing them because they're attractive young lads that some people are attracted to. Its not the truth though. Its a stupid, ignorant, stereotypical view that is lumping every viewer into the same category just because YOU personally do not think one direction are up to much.

And to blow your theory out of the water, I quite like them, I am no way a teenager. Till one of them does something controversial I wont like them, same for most of the XF contestants. Bland and dull.

what 15,000 straight guys like one direction? considering the x factor get about 13 million viewers i dont think 15,000 is that many.

Sorry Si, but I think The wanted have just taken that slot. And they do it so so much better tbh. Plus they have a strong singer upfront...which OD just don't, sadly.

I like them and want them to do well but really they are just not slick enough to cut it in the real world. Thrown together and it shows.

well it proves there talentless when they mimed most of there performance this week.

They didnt mime. They sang the verses themselves then sang along with the backing track during the chorus. Not miming just added oomph to beef up the chorus.

they did mime because the asian guy was moving his lips out of sync when he was apprently meant to be singing.

Why on earth would the producers allow ONE act to mime and make the rest of them sing live?
