I agree about the expense, but it's worth it if you don't have a laptop. That said, I wouldn't buy a Wi-Fi only model - you get so much more use out of it with 3G.

And yeah me too, if I had a 3G one I seriously would take it everywhere with me. It would probably never ever be left at home. Oh and I would hug it daily, like I do with my MacBook. :love:

I've got an Iphone which I like but I'm not a huge fan of other Apple products, they're all style over substance.

speaking of apple my macbook pros screen exploded and melted today thank god i still had warranty and I only got it in april. Have to wait a week for repair. :bawling:

Apple's OS X operating system is far superior to Windows in thousands of ways. Its designed to just work and it really does. Windows pales in comparison to it. OS X is so much better. I could never ever go back to ****crosoft Windows. :bored:

Also, Apple are hardly dull. They innovate in far more ways than Microsoft have only started bothering to. they revolutionised the phone with the iPhone & App Store (deny it as much as you like but its true) and they've set a standard for mobile devices in general thats only been matched by a certain few. That goes for the music player as well.

As for computing, Micro****e has already attempted to copy Apple through implementation of fancy graphics layers that are really just half assed pieces of crap along with the idea of 'jump lists' from Windows 7 (thats been present on the Dock for years) and with the icon only taskbar which looks a lot like the OS X Dock. I could go on and on about this. -__-

I've always liked Apple, used to have an iPod Nano [one of the really old generation ones like Stacey posted], then I got a 1st gen iPod Touch which I loved at the time :love: and now I've had an iPhone 3GS for a year and half which I can honestly say is the best gadget I've ever owned.

But I think I've fallen in love with them now, I watched the WWDC keynote the other day and iOS 5 looks seriously amazing :love: as does OS X Lion actually. I've always wanted an Apple laptop and I seriously think I'm going to consider getting one soon, I'd love a Macbook Air. I want more information on the iPhone 5 though because I'll be buying that too I think. Apple > Microsoft for sure, there is no comparison.

does anyone know if they're gonna be releasing a new gen of iPod in september, coz i was gonna get a 32GB 4th gen touch, but then saw they released new ones every september for the past 4 years :suspect:

I hate that. I got my Touch last January and it was already "old" by September. But I still have my 3rd Gen, don't need a newer one.

I'd wait till September, unless the new design is **** -looks at Nano 6G-
