Yep, I understand that. But in severe storms, if so dangerous, it's actually expected that you stay home and don't risk your life. Last winter we actually had calls and warnings to stay away from jobs and school etc unless in emergencies. It just puts pressure on emergency services

The weather was ace here today! It's been raining and windy for the past few weeks in Glasgow, yet as soon as this severe storm was announced, the weather's been clear, a little bit chilly but pretty good for November in Scotland!
