For my family I'd like a poem read -

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

That is probably the worst poem i have ever read... off course you ****ing died..

Try reading between the lines and break away from such uninventive and lacklustre thinking. Poetry is more than just the words that you see at first glance.

It is realistic thinking more then anything.... " I am not there i did not die " what happened then? seriously half this ****e sounds good when you read it but makes no sense at all

I can't give you the meaning you get from the poem, but to me it represents that even though you pass from this world, you are still alive in people's memories and hearts.
