Do you know how much you remind me of harry in that post...

ElProximo 09-11-2010 07:31 PM

He was born that way and what right do we have to tell him he is a bad person just because WE disagree with his lifestyle?

Anyways, I wonder if he was peer pressured into it before his performances hoping to make him calm the EFF down?

Iceman 09-11-2010 07:34 PM

who cares, most of the big name people are smokers or have been, get over it.......

rosebay11 09-11-2010 08:01 PM

I can see where the OP is coming from. Anyone who is really serious about protecting their voice would not smoke, IMO.

What gets to me re Aiden is the grimaces and faces he pulls especially when he bares his teeth. Can he stop it, I wonder. To me, he looks kinda like a horse when he does that!

Mystic Mock 09-11-2010 09:39 PM

clearly the op is trying to destroy aidens chances.

joeysteele 09-11-2010 09:44 PM

I don't get this smoking attack at all, if he smokes,he smokes, its not wrong, He will know if it affects his voice.
He sings great,he performs great,he can smoke if 'he' wants to.

i agree with this, obviously the op supports a rival to aiden and they have found something that the x factor producers have gave to the newspapers, and posted it on here.

This is ridiculous. Probably about half the population smoke. I'd be very surprised if he's the only contestant who smokes. I really don't see the problem. (And no, I'm not a smoker myself).

Also, I don't see how this means he's not focused. There are loads of things you could be doing which would show you're not focused, smoking's not one of them. So many musicians smoke, I'm actually kind of taken aback by everyone's reaction to this, like smoking isn't a common thing :|

If aiden ruins his voice then he wont win and thats his problem to deal with!
He seems to be doing fine so far despite his 'despicable' habit..!

Aiden ought to chain-smoke and inhale a spliff or two before he 'sings' again... it certainly cannot hurt his voice or performance.
