Lol must be great on your check ups then

I had what I thought was a lump once but I got it checked out, it turned out to be nothing.. I was told that cancerous lumps tend to be hard and often ripple the outside skin. Sometimes you get nipple inversion or a discharge too.. but I'd get it checked out pronto!

Thanks for the comfort.

epically ballsed up with the wording on that one

I meant because its on the outside, if its cancerous its most likely to be skin cancer. Just look around online for symptoms but don't scare youself, its probably just a harmless cyst or something but you need to get it checked out. just hope the doctor isn't a pervy old man :joker:

It might be a boil not sure because i've never had one. Can a cancerous lump be on the outside? If so what would it look like, if anyone has experienced this?

There are a thousand things it could be that are not at all serious. Try to remember that and try not to stress. Got to your doc though. Tomorrow, preferably and you can put your mind at rest.

Feeling kind of low today anyway. Maybe it's best if I die. :(

Thanks everyone. Called GP today but it was always busy. Will have to try again tomorrow.

Before I thought they were minor, like you couldn't see them but woah.

Patrick 10-11-2010 10:54 PM

That one is skin.

This one is breast.

Yeah happens all the time that, doctors failing to spot and treat serious diseases. Bastards never get done for malpractice do they?

Nothing whatsoever to do with people failing to go to the doctor and have things checked out prefering instead to ask people on a website to reassure them they haven't got cancer and letting a pre cancerous growth grow and spread until it produces more painful symptoms.

Am glad you are not one of those and realise its best to get things checked early and that most lumps and growths are harmless.

I enjoy sarcasm. I think I explained the main purpose of this thread was not to get a diagnosis but just wondered if anybody had had something similar and maybe could shed a light, meanwhile I was trying to book an appointment but line was busy and will try to call again tomorrow. Now sure if they can see me as emergency...satisfied? :conf:

Most practices take appointments from 8:30am (but you need to ring at that time) otherwise go to an out of hours/walk in clinic at your local hospital

Try to thinks positive.

I've got a lump on my penis, but it has been there for a couple of years now and I've never had it checked out. Too embarrassed.

PM me if you ever need to chat. :)

No because I'd be dead.

It has been there long enough so I'm not bothered. Also, just most likely a normal lump. Us men have all sorts of lumps and bumps one our penises. It would be a different case if it was on my testicle.

Just get it checked out. Docs have seen it all (and more) before. How long it's been there means nothing
