Oh.. So I'm guessing after that they called your parents? Bet you were well embarrassed lmao

Sorry for being nosy, but why were you in the psych ward? *Grabs popcorn and gets ready for a juicy story* :)

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 14-11-2010 06:56 PM

Hope ye are better si - a really good mate of mine was sectioned for about 10 months in total as bi-polar. The psychie wards can be really frightening places (1st one he was in was like a prison). I was truly scared of violence breaking-out when visited the secure ward.

He's fine now on correct meds and working again. The only thing I hate is that some ignorant b'stards who I would usually think of as friends still call him "Crazy [insert his real name]". The stigma of his illness still haunts in this way.

Put it behind you and move-on/progress - and don't make a rude joke out of that kiddo - I know what yer like !!!!!!

Ouch. That must have been so embarrassing when your parents asked you about what happened.

And oh, well good to see your better now. :)

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 14-11-2010 09:57 PM

i probably shouldnt say this but i quite liked it on the ward :conf2:

Niall 14-11-2010 10:09 PM

Well you do get people waiting on you hand and foot I guess.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 14-11-2010 10:11 PM

lol no you dont :joker:

its not like a hospital at all its more like a prison like claymores said

the people were so epic though i loved them all

Claymores 14-11-2010 10:19 PM

Dunno where you were Si or how bad it was.........the place my mate 1st went in was truly like a hard prison - the 'olderlies' didn't give a sugar if the patients got beat-up or worse (sexually abused) by the long-term ones.

Trust me si - even in your silly persona on TIBB you would not want this.

Modern hospitals Me!, the psychie wards are quite open apart from the key to the door and you are allowed to take your patient out for lunch then come back and play table tennis or pool without getting your teeth broken!

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 14-11-2010 10:29 PM

^ it wasnt like that

the staff were really good in the one i was in and the patients were all really nice too

It is all anonymous si, so I can tell you.........every time I took my mate for lunch he'd want me to go buy booze and sneak it into the secure ward for him! hahahahaha - he was still 'mad' (not corrected meds yet).

I agree the nursing staff were quite good and caring at his one - was just the 'orderlies' on minimum wage who seemed worse than the patients and would sell them fags (tobacco before you start!) for 10x as much the price for patients not allowed short trips outside.

Claymores 14-11-2010 10:37 PM

I return to above post si - "hope you're feeling better and sorted"

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 14-11-2010 10:40 PM

proziac is a weak one si - you just must have just been an unruly teen! I am 4steps higher as I do suffer anxiety/depression. Trust me you are on a weak one that a huge percentage of housewives take. just to cope with sprogs I lead a normal life on higher - so no excuse for you young sir!

LOL so "I don't have a lighter" translates into "touch my dick"? :laugh3:
