i quite like alot of punk actually..dead kennedys,exploited,black flag,circle jerks
but theres just something about sex pistols that i just dont really like
although in fairness i do love public image ltd gladly they arent punk

Sex Pistols I agree with as a band. Although they did help kickstart the punk movement they had one damn album and none of them were particularly good musicians. John Lydon has a great raspy voice and personality but then Public Image was his true band. The guy even said it himself.

Besides Punk was a step backwards that left very little room for sonic experimentation. The post punk movement was far superior. I do enjoy pop punk for what it is though. I'd never take it seriously or go and see any of the bands but it's produced some good tunes [See : Any Tony Hawk game].

Same with some of the Nirvana groupies, can never name many songs lol They just like the hoodies

Tricky. I'm not a huge fan of him but his use of high pitched sampling and nicking of drum loops has slowed down with his recent efforts. His a dab hand in the studio. New album kicks all sorts of ass.

They arent overrated really but the way I'm a Celebrity keep calling Shaun Ryder a musical legend and Happy Mondays one of the best bands of that era is just silly

I liked all his early stuff but then he got a bit too much lol

Yeah The Chiefs looked poised for superstardom a few years ago then they vanished. Same with Stereophonics who in reality are a terrible, boring old shoe of a band. Dakota is decent but still ... they should have been headlining stadiums by now.

Stereophonics are the best thing to come out of Wales :nono: They did never seem to make it as big as they should've though

i remember when everyone went crazy over dakota then they disappeared lol

Tough competition though they face from the likes of Feeder and ... well ... Lostprophets.
