The Mint and Quizmania are the most despicable excuse for television shows, they are nothing but an effort to grab huge amounts of money from the viewers and offer very little in return.

It is the same as the phone in competitions that all the shows are doing now, but worse. The shows make several hundreds of thousands of pounds from setting up the phone competitions and offer a very low prize relatively speaking. The standard charge of £1 is just a joke. Even when it’s for charity the amount that goes to the charity is always smaller than the money that goes to the show.
