http://www.astrology.com.au/compatibility/index.asp

Aquarius + Libra

Air + Air = Wind

Libra is a natural diplomat … and you're a harmless revolutionary, some might say. This blend of energies is wild, but also quite compatible. Libra will absolutely love your zany antics.

There's a natural romantic connection between you. You’re quite likely to hit it off immediately, and to know that there’s something pretty special going on between you. You are both governed by the air element, which is a plus: you have similar attitudes to most things.

You could develop some unusual ideologies together. Even leaving aside any social or political ideas, there’ll be plenty of magical moments when you bring your minds together in extended discussions. Current affairs will be a hit topic. And social mixing, which is high on the agenda for both of you, will have to be with people that aren't your normal, run-of-the-mill types.

Both of you have progressive views about love and marriage, but Libra is probably coy rather than seriously committed to non-commitment, which is what you are. Some Aquarians still subscribe to the hippie concept of free love: freedom in their most intimate relationships. You are both committed to exploring this aspect of your relationship.

Libra’s explorations may go as far as indulging in some harmless flirtations, but they will fall a long way short of your out there approach, which you’ll want to push to the limits. You want to investigate all the possibilities of freedom in intimacy.

Perhaps the two of you need to treat this relationship as a casual arrangement for a while before you commit to a serious affair. Once you’ve satisfied your individual needs to explore and experiment with the whole free love idea, you’ll have a much better chance as a couple. With that out of the way, a more traditional commitment will be feasible.

If you unite with Librans born between 23 September and 3 October, there’s no doubt that transformation, for the better, will take place. These people will inspire you to do your best and become someone important. They feel inspired in the same way by your support for them.

Librans born between 4 October and 13 October will instantly recognise you as a soulmate, and you'll feel exactly the same. Essentially, you’ll feel connected on all levels. This combination can create a wonderful relationship for the two of you.

Long-term involvement with Librans born between 14 October and 23 October will be a confusing affair for you. With this combination, although you enjoy each other’s company and you love doing things together, you may never quite settle down into the groove of committed love.

And I am EXACTLY like the aqauraius description that happyland posted...dont see any point in pasting it again

Though I dont believe in horoscopes and that as such, these two today have been very accurate

My OH is a Libran too, so I suppose we're the same as that ^

Niamh. 13-01-2011 03:31 PM

and I'm a libran but Gav isn't Aquarius (apparently though Aquarius and Aries are Librans best matches) here's mine :

Libra is ruled by Venus, and so is Taurus. Because of this there’s an immediate attraction between you. Your air element relates to your brains and your terrific communication skills, and all this appeals to the earthy and security-conscious Taurus. In return, Taurus can ground you and calm some of your mental scatter.

You’ll both enjoy having a busy social life, but there are limits for Taurus, who loves the domestic side of life. You need the social circle, but it could get a little exhausting for Taurus, who needs a quieter sort of environment, at least from time to time.

Luckily, you also like a bit of mental calm, and hooking up with Taurus will probably help you balance your bouts of partying and high living. You’ll be happy to finally settle into a more balanced routine.

If you can be sensitive to Taurus’s needs, and support them, the relationship will be a great one — an excellent mix of social and domestic satisfaction. This will be a partnership in which you’ll both nurture each other.

You’re service oriented, and can help Taurus move towards their work and life goals. Occasionally Taureans lose the ability to feel inspired about what they’re doing, where they’re going — you’ll be good at giving them the gentle push they need. This ability to rejuvenate Taurus can cost you in terms of your own physical wellbeing, though, so keep an eye on yourself.

Also, you and Taurus may sometimes find your agendas out of sync and needing adjustment. In extreme cases, your love of the social life could mean you’re not ready to settle down when Taurus is. Allowances will need to be made on both sides. If you end up surrendering to Taurus’s needs out of a sense of obligation, your wellbeing and mental peace will suffer.

You can easily fall in love with Taureans born between 20 April and 29 April — they are romantic at heart and tend to stimulate your own passion and need for love.

Any Taurus born between 30 April and 10 May will also be reasonably compatible. The problem with this group is that they will be overly concerned with financial security and could demand an unfair share of input from you. Sort out money plans with them very carefully.

Taureans born between 11 May and 21 May are far too grounded for your liking and could be a challenge for you. It will be hard work to get them up and out of their own fixed way of seeing and doing things.

The me side of it was, the gav not so much, but not totally off. Gav is definitely not committed to the idea of 'free love' :laugh2:

What's your star sign and does the personality description for that star sign describe you do you think?

Mine is Libra :

Librans symbolised by the scales are the sign of partnership and marriage and are probably the most fitted sign in the zodiac for partnership.

They are well balanced and harmonious, and socially libra people are in great demand. They like being consulted in matters and are able to settle disputes between friends amicably.

They are happy when surrounded by harmony and beauty but are happiest when their work is admired.

A more sociable creature is hard to find. One of the most popular signs of the Zodiac. Everyone wants you at their party! With a mix of mild manners and effortless charm you have people eating out of your hand.

Some Librans do argue but only when provoked and never in public. At heart you're a peace lover. Besides you hate being alone, so you're not going to rock the boat if you can help it.

Librans can be described as diplomatic, urbane, romantic, charming, easygoing, sociable, idealistic, and peaceable.

They may have a tendency to be indesicive, changeable, gullible, easily-influenced, flirtatious, or self-indulgent.

Im the same starsign as you, i was born on the 28th, that just describes me to a tea.:joker:

GEMINI:

Known for their dual nature, Geminis enjoy having busy lives with lots of variety. Known also for split personalities; One day hot, one day cold.

They are very talented people, able to put their hand to anything and do it well.

Geminis also have a knack of playing several roles, like to be noticed, which is helped by their chatty and witty nature.

No other starsign is so versatile and cheeky, with their Mercurial mind they leave lesser mortals standing. They are less about depth but more about breadth.

They also never hang around for too long in one place, in case they take root.

Geminis are considered to be: adaptable, versatile, youthful, cheeky, intelligent, lively, inquisitive and eloquent.

They are also considered; restless, cunning, nervous, inconsistent and superficial.

They can be difficult characters to get to know, but it's worth sticking with them as they are very loyal and love to party.

When it comes to love they love a challenge, especially in bed!

LOL.

every single 'starsign' site with little personality bios are incredibly vague. People will read what they want to read in them.

I agree with you to a certain extent about a lot of these being vague and very likely applicable to anybody, but I do think that in general I do show a lot of the traits that are typical of Aquarians..

I am also naturally drawn to other air signs (aquarians, geminis and librans)

I read an article about astrology in a science magazine once, and I think it said there might be some evidence that the season you are born could influence your future personality because babies that are born in, for example, the Spring are taken out in prams more in the first few months so see more of the sun. But nothing really to do with which star sign you are born 'under'.

Or something like that lol.

I read about that too, ages ago.

What starsign are you James? I'm just being inquisitive! ;)

Yeah that makes sense actually

I dont personally believe in starsigns and that. Horoscopes...its just stupid. The same thing is going to happen to one out of every twelve people? They are just like fortune tellers and that, make it as vague as possible so that it does apply to people to keep them believing, as shaun said.

Mind saying that, the above descriptions for me are scarily accurate D:

That must be a lot of rubbish! It would mean that everbody in Scotland would have the same personalities.. Babies don't see the sun here regardless of what season they wereborn during, just grey skies and rain!

:D

yeah, that's what I was trying to say though, I don't actually believe in star signs or horoscopes as I can't see any logical reason why it would be true but those descriptions are very accurate. Especially the relationship one plus the one I did with my exes star sign
