I've alway been interested in her too.. What do you think of the rumour that she was in fact a bloke?

Nice place yo live near then,I love North of the Border,Scotland is a beautiful country.
Clearly it would be a rumour I couldn't put any belief in, her Father was really grieved to have had a daughter, wanting a full Son to carry on the Stuart dynasty, she was at the French court, married to the French King, then 2 further marriages back in Scotland and having a son too.
She was also after all kept imprisoned for near 19years in England after her abdication and thinking of how rough those times were, no way could she have been a man.
I admired her courage,I think from a line of a film made about her which was totally untrue as I don't believe she and Elizabeth 1 ever met face to face, but in the film a line is said to her by Elizabeth 1 as to 'had her head matched her heart it would have been Elizabeth awaiting death not Mary'.
I think that's probably an appropriate summing up of Mary, maybe she loved too much, paying a heavy price in the end for doing so.
She is a topic once I start on , I go on and on, my Student mates today are going to get Mary Queen of Scots all day now likely.
