Agree 100 percent (or a million percent as Simon Cowell likes to say....roll eyes) for vote to save, its the best option imo. We need 24/7 live feed as well, I would love that.

The best part is [if this is true] PEJ won't be involved, Phil Edgar Jones.

That's the bastard that was responsible for robbing us of our rightful amazing finale in Summer by getting rid of 3 of the biggest characters in BB11 all in one night.

So Desmond may be open to vote to save actually.

Look at I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, CONSTANTLY provides amazing entertainment right to the very end.
Why?
Because they do a vote to save and the dullards who aren't doing anything are always voted off and in the end we're left with entertainers.

That's how a Reality Show should work.

Brilliant News

Yeah I wonder if C5 would actually do Live Feed for us though? I mean I was perfectly happy with LF being online last year.

We could print screen funny moments and stuff but the thing is if they do it online again I doubt they'll be as friendly to give the 1000 free passes away and I doubt I'd be as lucky to win one again.

So I guess the Red Button would be better, do Five even have a Red Button or would they ever do that?

See it's quite hard to guess these things because we don't actually know what Richard Desmond is like.
I mean is he generous towards things like Live Feed or is he a bint?

With Phil Edgar Jones and the C4 Crew we knew they are all bastards who wanted to kill the show.

Tbh I never watched live feed, I generally found it quite boring but if they did the free pass thing again I would try and get one to see the funny moments. I remember that cause people used to be like this last year "OMGZ YOU GUYS. THE SH!TS GOING DOWN. LF NOWWWWWWW!!". And I used to be like, "K well I'll just sit here and watch you react to whatever happened -_-".

I know what you mean too, if it does come back, we know screw all about what the new production team is gonna be like. It'll be interesting to see a fresh bunch of people take over the show though. :)

We can only hope, and see what transpires, hopefully he has seen the potential of a revamp and will invest a lot in it so it will pay off and make a bundle for him, then he will invest more and so on. Could be the best or worst thing to happen to the show, lets hope for the former. PEJ should be shot imo.

When it comes to the theme, that's one of the few things I'd be fine if they changed. If it does, it should be something party-ish like Australian BB, Idol and Dancing on Ice.

Partyish?

Element 4 was on a Club Land CD along with 3 other Party Albums back in 2000 and 2001.

On YouTube on the comments people comment things like 'This is the only part of the song I actually like, love it!' and 'RAVE!!' and 'TUNE BRUV!' etc

How is Element 4 not Partyish?

I mean listen to this:

And then this:

That literally made me choke on a Kit Kat :joker::joker::joker::joker:

LemonJam 30-01-2011 07:47 PM

If I'm 100% honest, I want a completely fresh series if it's ever to come back.

Well something in the style of DoI, BBAus and Idol.

Beastie 30-01-2011 08:01 PM

Keep Element 4 but spice up the tune a bit. Add an extra tune to the song or something.

This.

I'd actually rather them remix Element 4 than keep it the same.

They need to remix the actual song Element 4 and release it again

Title it 'Element 4 | 2011' or something.

Make the opening itself about 40 seconds long.
Add some epic drums in the background, have to different intros for the show on eviction nights.

Daily Show: Element 4 Remixed As Normal

Eviction Show: Build Up The Theme Tune Abit With Some Claps or Drums and then fade into the New Element 4.

BB AUS had like 2 Different Openings for their Evictions and HLs.

_Seth 30-01-2011 08:15 PM

I love it when they add crowd noise and you can hear them clapping and cheering.

That could be added for eviction shows, over something like these for the daily shows:

Patrick 30-01-2011 08:37 PM

Oh I see what you mean now Phillip like a theme tune that's so catchy that it gets everyone ready and moving?

Yeah.

Element 4 does that but I can see the difference those have like a repeated rythem to them and stuff that's so cool.

Fair dos.
I think they should remix Element 4 to be like that

That part on Ant and Dec's theme tune where it goes 'SATTTTTTURRRRRRRRDAAAAY!' and then it goes quiet and the tune keeps going on, that could be like where the presenter would enter and be like 'Welcome to Big Brother and tonight we've got a cracking eviction it's Britney VS Shauna VS Jake! Who do we want to stay guys? *Audience cheers like Chavs* To vote for who you want to SAVE call...'

And the theme keeps replaying

Oh love it.

See how the DOI Theme gets remixed a tiny bit every year? They should do that with every series.

So we can be like 'Oh I liked The Series 13 Theme The Best, This one is too chavy' and stuff lol.

Stu 30-01-2011 08:54 PM

They should use the version of the title theme used for the first four seasons. It sounds much more big time to me these days. It's much louder and punchier.

I have to admit ... I hate change when it comes to Big Brother. It's all about the housemates to me. Just get the perfect housemates and a nice, consistent, mid noughties style series and I'm happy. Be good old trashy Channel 5 and just pump them full of booze and cut nothing out.

_Seth 30-01-2011 08:54 PM

^I loved the sounds from the first 4 UKBBs. I wonder why they made it a little different...

I spell my name with one "L". And yeah, when it comes to the Saturday Night theme, I love how it starts playing again.

No. It should be perfect and stay that way. It doesn't make sense to make it less good for the sake of a change.

I'm going to go and listen to an old theme now and see if it sounds better actually.

The opening titles and entrance. So upbeat. That's what I love about Aus BB.

Patrick 30-01-2011 09:03 PM

Hmm...
It sounds abit irritating actually.

Very 'basic' but then it's being compared to the other one which sounds abit different.

The new one sounds more like an event or something like that.

_Seth 30-01-2011 09:06 PM

^The earlier titles sounded sci-fi and creepy. I really like the ending sound in the earlier titles compared to the newer.

Stu 30-01-2011 09:06 PM

The aesthetic is the most important thing, IMO. That cannot afford to be changed. BBUK is a bit ... well ... creepy. The theme, advertising, graphics and house designs are usually consistently surreal and trippy. When it first came out at the break of the new millenium it was almost marketed as this strange, CCTV based futuristic telly. Some bizarre post modern entertainment carnival.

Knowing 5 though that will all change. A series format carrying across channels is one thing. Production design is another. 5 might have other ideas in store.

Patrick 30-01-2011 09:22 PM

I get what you mean, Especially with the adverts they tend to make them scary and creepy and leave you wondering what's going to happen to the housemates [nothing ever does but you know].

I think at the start, and the show kind of lost this towards the end, it was all about 'Big Brother is watching' and now it isn't.

I mean these adverts:

Give off a very different impression than this:

But yeah I mean with Channel 5 from what I've heard, will probably turn it into some kind of Jersey Shore show.
Not that that is a bad thing, because it'll probably be more entertaining.

People tend to like watching a bunch of people get drunk, fight and have sex now than watch a 'Social Experiment' where it's all very strict.

I like both.

But yeah Channel 5 will really change the general vibe of the show.

Patrick 30-01-2011 09:23 PM

I still hope we get Eye Flashes and Trailers too though [if Desmond takes it on].

It wouldn't be May without coming home and coming on TiBB with the 'PLEASE SAY THERE'S A NEW TRAILER' thought in your head.

Or forcing yourself to watch Hollyoaks or The Simpsons for May only just to see any Exclusive Eye Flashes that haven't appeared on YouTube yet.

It's brilliant.

reece(: 30-01-2011 09:43 PM

I would like there to be more game to it but furthermore, no strict rules from pussy producers so they can just get to know each other properly, have dramas/arguments and stuff:D

+ yes definately vote to save to vote any deadwood out early on
