I don't think taking out any scenes where they're talking about the baby on BGT is hurtful. It's not denying the existence of the baby, just being respectful and thoughtful of what Amanda and her husband are going through.

I feel desperately sorry for her - it's bad enough having a miscarriage early on in the pregnancy (I should know, I had four all at around the 3-4 month point), but to get to 7 months! Many premature babies are viable at 6 months, so I can't begin to guess what may have gone wrong. She must have had to endure a normal labour knowing her baby was dead - that's heartbreaking:sad:

I wasn't actually referring to any discussions about the baby... I was referring to the physicalities of seeing her baby bump and in any possible 'editing' to avoid showing it.

That's so sad. And at 7 months as well :S Lily Allen lost her baby at 6 months and now Amanda at 7 months!!

I am sure Amanda and her husband will try again. Amanda is only 39 but still it seems to get harder and harder to have a baby at a later age these days!

This is so sad :( I won't be surprised if she doesn't do the live finals, poor woman. First Lily, now Amanda.

One in every five pregnancies, about one in every six women. It's only when it happens to you that you realise how cruelly 'common' this horrible thing is.

Aw :(

And the majority happen in the first trimester. To lose a baby in the third trimester must be horrendous.
