But yeah after a few dates of going out then I get invited to their house :) Usually the parents are there and then you chill out more and watch a DVD and shizz!

If I was going to have a relationship that mostly consisted of sex.. no way would I allow them to "meet the parents"

I suppose it depends how old you are. At 15/16 or your first boyfriend then you are more likely to meet in town/go to the pictures and that before going to each others houses!! When you get older then you get used to dating or just do how you please.. whether you just want a shag from someone or if you "really like someone" then get in there!

Mmm not at the age of 15/16 when I was naive!! More at ease as in... start kissing and just feel more relaxed and open in conversation :) Holding hands.. and all them sweet things you used to do with your first boyfriend. Awwwww <3

Not anything i'd class as a date anyway, don't really like that kind of thing.. dinner dates are far far to cheesy for me and it's so awkward as well in a weird kind of way.. and going out on valentines day is even worse, there is pressure on you to pull something out the bag but really you just can't be bothered

I think if it was a first date going for dinner would be really cringey, but if you have been seeing the person for a while it would be fine.

No. Well, I've been asked on a date - does that count?

I agree. I would feel cringey going to a restaurant first on a first date.. rather go to the pictures or something. Don't mind sharing popcorn or whatever lol

All dinner dates are cringey, that's why the back window in male toilets were made so you can make a quick escape

I'd find a date at a restaurant or something really awkward, rather just relax & watch a film round theirs or something like that

Twilight 14-02-2011 11:24 PM

Nope.

I went on a first date to the ice skating when I was younger, It was humiliating, the guy I went with couldn't even skate, he had to hire his skates from the ice rink and he kept falling all over the place :bored:

InOne 14-02-2011 11:27 PM

Yeah, dates seems forced, if it's meant to happen it will happen.

You weren't called Fiona prior to your name change by any chance were you baddie Josy?! EXACTLY that happened with me - I'd never been to an ice-rink in my life, while this girl Fiona had done figure skating to quite a high level! On one of my many falls, I gashed-open the palm of my hand and the cut was verging on the need for stiches!

Unlike your "bored" smiley, we both found it hilarious and got on like a house on fire.

On another date with her we went to see ice-hockey. I sat pretending to be interested during the first half. Then the second half. Then I got up to leave.....I had no idea there were 3 periods in ice hockey

Bet you pushed the poor guy over
